VLOG: new nails, updated skincare, mini hauls, getting my instagram back
bye [Applause] new vlog starts someone commented and said i love how unenthusiastic dylan is on the camera bye i love you i love you goodbye probably would help if i had my purchase i forgot my wallet do you know where my wallet is winnie you need to pick up your toys hello everyone i just got to the nail salon i’m getting my nails done for the first time since probably like i want to say like almost this year right yeah because i couldn’t get my nails done ever for dance dogs so this has been a while since i got my nails done and there’s this nail account that i follow on instagram and it’s like nail i’ll insert her instagram handle and she has the best like nail art nails and i’ve been like really inspired to get my nails done i used to wear tips on my nails all the time and i don’t really love tips i don’t love what they do to your nails like my nails are so healthy and strong right now but i just am looking for a new little refresh something new and exciting in my life so i’m gonna get my nails done i have a photo that i’m gonna show them i’m going to cameron’s spa nails if you live in raleigh this is the place i used to go all the time when i would visit dylan i would just always go to this place so i’m like comfortable with it there is like a nail place here that specializes in nail art that i really wanted to go to but the weight to get in for them is like two weeks right now so i was like i’m not gonna wait that long i’ll show you guys the picture that i am going off of super cute i really like it so hopefully they can do something like this or i was also look at these pictures of dating you guys from facetime the other night i was also gonna maybe go with just like the white so we’ll see if i can’t find like good green colors i’ll probably just do this but hopefully they turn out i always get nervous like doing fun stuff with your nails because i feel like if it doesn’t turn out exactly how you want it it’s always like terrible oh oh all right just got home picked up some chick flight for dawn and i he just left for football wait mom oh my god her got her instagram back i’m so excited i could literally cry you guys right now oh my god so much to tell you so much to tell you right right okay we need to chat i was just taking photos first off nails look fire better little look at them so good they literally look like the photos she sent they’re a little bit more of an almond shape i wish she would have rounded them at the top like a tad more but i love the colors i picked i feel like it turned out really really cute i’ll insert the photo right here if you guys want to screenshot to use it and send it to your nail lady so good and i love the feeling of having tips on my nails again next topic is my instagram it’s been the topic of the week so my instagram was hack deactivated deleted whatever you want to call it like a few days ago uh three three or four days ago i think yeah and this morning i got an email back from so if you missed the like story of what happened i’ll link the vlog that like it happened in and when i talked about it just been a disaster i can’t like fully explain like how i got it back and like tell you i wish i could if this is happening to you but i don’t want to like give out this girl’s email and stuff because that’s just like wrong like i can’t really do that basically one of you guys actually said that your friend worked for instagram gave me her email thank you bless you if you’re watching this i cannot even thank you enough and i reached out to her she got back to me and within like three days got my account back up and running like the exact same instagram account so i am so thankful for her because um we all know the instagram help center is like no help and i like still to this day haven’t heard anything back from like instagram or facebook like i have gotten no messages from them so if it wasn’t for her i probably would probably have to make a new account or wait like a few weeks because i heard that it could take like up to a month through the help center just because there’s so many people that have accounts and stuff so anyways that aside got the instagram back i’m very excited about that and i feel very like thankful that i had like the connection to reach out to that girl you are the people that helped me and you’re watching thank you so much like you and better than ever oh my gosh crazy winnie your mom is crazy good morning everyone i want to jump on here this morning as i do my morning skincare and talk to you guys about my new current morning so i’m going to show you what i’ve been using a few vlogs back i was talking about how i felt like my skin was very like just flat and dull and i really wanted like some skin care products that were very moisturizing glowy hydrating and i feel like that’s exactly what i have found with this routine that i’m using so i’ve been using this for probably a month or so and i cannot complain about it this is right when i wake up this is just my skin so what i will do so i have it’s pretty simple in the morning my nighttime routine is a little more well it’s just like one more step so whatever first up i will cleanse with this cleanser it is very very clean minimal ingredients which is why i love it cucumber green tea and chamomile main ingredients i just do this every single morning and night so um night time i normally will apply it in the shower in the mornings this is how i start my day i love this cleanser because i feel like the difference between this and a few others that i have used is that when i’m done using this my skin feels more like refreshed and like my pores are open and things like that versus a cleanser that’s kind of like clogging my pores or not really like not really getting in there it’s just kind of touching the surface so this cleanser has been amazing i absolutely love and i probably should touch on like what kind of skin i have and stuff i have like dry and oily skin all in one it’s kind of confusing some days it’ll be oily in certain areas but then sometimes it’s like dry so this is a great kind of just like neutral cleanser you have like more acne prone skin and things like that they have different routines and products on their website you can check out but i have just always been someone who was really really lucky when it comes to like acne and stuff but i i do get random breakouts here and there and this has kept it under control i haven’t had like many breakouts this month minus like when it’s my time of the month you know like and that just happens to everyone old girls are these two products and this is a super hydrating serum which is my first time using this actually in this routine that i have been doing so this you guys might be one of my new favorite products from bioclarity it’s called drink it up super hydrating serum and it has watermelon apple and lentil in it so it’s very very clean ingredients it’s plant-based sometimes i’ll go into like sephora and look at some of their skincare and the ingredients and stuff that i read on the back i’m like oh my gosh you need to make sure you know what is in your skincare because there’s some brands out there that will hide some stuff in there that is like not good for your skin i normally just keep the serum at night you can use it am pm depending on your skin but i found that this works good for me at night time but what i will do in the morning next is use the restore which looks like this so this has floralex in it which is made with chlorophyll which has a ton a ton a ton of amazing health benefits for your skin so i love using this step number two we’ll just massage this into my skin it feels really really nice and then last step for the morning i will do hydrate which has been an amazing moisturizer for me i have been looking for moisturizer everywhere you guys know and this one has been really great it has floralux again argon and olive so really simple ingredients it’s just very hydrating i know that there’s a ton of moisturizers out there but a lot of them to me just kind of feel oil based and kind of just feel like they just sit on my skin for the day this one really gets in there um and my skin like i haven’t really been wearing makeup and i feel like my skin looks really really great those are like the three main main go-to’s right now like i said i do use the drink it up serum every single night this is like the holy grail product for me right now but sometimes if i feel like my skin’s needing a little extra boost in the morning i will use it in the am as well but i also have two other little products i wanted to share these two skin care products from bioclarity are new to me i’ve never tried them before until like a month ago and i’m not someone who wears makeup a ton or like a lot of makeup when i do wear makeup but this prime and ready hydrating prime silicone free primer from them is so so good if you’re looking for a new makeup primer try it out you just apply it with your fingertips very clean ingredients as well and i’ve been loving this under my makeup my makeup has been staying on all day looking very like uh what do you call it seamless you know lastly um this face mask i was sure to order this when i was having like just very dry dull skin i felt like at the beginning of like september and so i saw this on the website and ordered it it’s the brighten up sunshine exfoliating brightening mask it has vitamin c pineapple and coconut in it and it is so good you guys i leave it on for about 30 minutes you can do 20 to 30 minutes with this but i love to use the whole time and when i’m done my skin feels very bright lifted tight all of that so those are all the products that i’ve been trying and loving from bio clarity like i said this routine i will stick with for quite some time now i just want to say like if you see me talking about the skincare routine like and you might have different skin don’t go buy this exact same thing like look into their products and their descriptions and what it helps and what it does for what types of skin type because like i said everyone’s skin is different i have had dry skin oily skin everything in between and i know everyone is different that’s just how we are we’re all different clean effective skincare should not be an arm and a leg crazy expensive and this i feel like is a great price point for everyone to achieve beautiful great skin so definitely check them out i didn’t individually pick this pair of sneakers for forever but they were always sold out of my size and i found them on revolve the other day and i’m obsessed they actually just came out with an all-white pair that i want as well but look at how freaking cute these are i’m not someone who’s really into i know like the jordans are a huge trend right now for shoes and stuff for nike but i’m more into like a sleeker tennis shoe i don’t know why but i love a good high top so these are super cute i kind of want to get them in a few other colors but we’ll stick with these for now and they fit true to size if you’re like interested they i’m a seven and a half and that’s what i ordered they are like a little hard to get on at first but i know it’s just because you have to like break them in and stuff so got those i’ll link them for you guys and then i got this little set from h m which first off i probably ordered this like two and a half weeks ago if not longer it took forever to get in the mail so i don’t like 100 recommend h m shipping like i would have rather just gone into the store but i got this like white oversized button up uh which i got in a medium and i probably should have gotten in like a large or an extra large just for the reason that i wanted to wear it so i’ll probably return this because i got literally the cutest sweater vest you guys so i got this sweater vest which i am obsessed with and i got this in a size medium it fits really really nice i love the knit of it and there’s like a little side slit and i got this to wear under this as like a little dress with some like knee-high boots but i’m on the taller side so that is not going to be long enough so i’m probably going to return that and get like an xl but i’m definitely going to be keeping the vest it’s so cute and it’s like a little high-low situation so the back like hangs lower this would be also really cute with some like leather pants and sneakers we’ll see how i end up styling this make sure you follow me on am a freak and i don’t like when my place is messy and i like visitors like i want everything to be cute and nice for everyone so i’m probably going to clean up a little bit i have a video due today that i need to edit that’s what’s going on i also need to run to target and home goods i need to return some stuff from home goods and i need to run to the grocery store too but is there enough hours in the day for them so i just got out of this smoothie place this new place that i have found it’s called clean juice and i got a little green juice i’ve not been getting my greens in for the day i got a sweet green this is organic cucumber apple mint kale and spinach just got a small one because i feel like i never finished the full size and i love that they offer like mini so there’s like this is a small which is still pretty decent and they have like huge large ones and then i also got this pumpkin pie smoothie it’s like on their seasonal menu i just thought it would be fun to try and i haven’t had a coffee yet or anything so i feel like this would be good oh my god literally tastes like i’m eating pumpkin like thanksgiving pie what the heck it says wacko what what is in this so good if you have a clean juice around you i don’t know if it’s like a franchise or whatnot but it’s really good these are the flannels i’ve been obsessed with they’re so good they’re in the men’s section and i get an extra large and i have so many there’s so many i like this one too this is the one that i have so just got done wrapping up dinner dylan is what is going on with my ear i just kind of picked up dylan’s in the shower we’re gonna watch some scandal we’re like almost done with scandal we have i think a few episodes left of season seven if you haven’t seen it you guys it’s so good i highly highly recommend winnie loves it as well went to target i think i kind of vlogged in there for a second but i wanted to just show you what i got because it’s kind of fun it’s like three things literally and one of them is toothpaste so exciting stuff over here on this channel but i just wanted to talk about these flannels really quick because you guys i have been searching for good flannels to wear with sweat sets jeans leggings throw it on over literally anything and i feel like the good ones are super expensive like 70 80 bucks which is ridiculous especially because a flannel is such like a broad print and i feel like you can only get away with wearing it so much so i wanted to have like a few different patterns and styles but obviously if they’re like 80 bucks each i’m not gonna buy like four of them so i found these in the target men’s section when i was actually there with dylan a few days ago or maybe it’s like weeks ago because i have i already have one and i’ll link below the exact green one that i have that i mentioned in a vlog a while back i also wore it in my fall vlog just a green and gray checkered and i really really like that one it’s probably my favorite print but i today went in there and picked this one up i really have been into like chocolate brown i feel like that’s very very in for fall so i loved this pattern i love the blues i love the browns like i said and then the orange i also got this for a video that i’m doing i’m recreating haley bieber’s outfits you guys i’m so excited i ordered all the stuff last night online for all the outfits and i cannot wait to share that with you guys so hopefully all that stuff comes in soon it’s from a few different places so we’ll just wait for all that to get in and film that i’m very excited to do a styling video i get told a lot that i look like her and i see it sometimes but literally all of you guys tell me so i’m so excited to do like a recreating haley bieber but anyways back to the flannel i get a size xl it’s so good covers the butt very good flannel material it’s not too thin not too hot i live in the south and i can wear these right now so just thought that i would mention my flannel fine from target it’s the good fellow brand and they have them online too if you don’t have them in your target which you should it’s like a little huge section of flannels in the men’s section so definitely check them out i will link it below and then i just picked up a new toothpaste my favorite one you guys dylan steals dylan steals my toothpaste i think he’s still in the shower he steals my toothpaste because the toothpaste he uses is gross it’s like baking soda toothpaste like i do not like it and then he takes mine and then uses it all and he’s about to stay in a hotel tomorrow because he’s a football game and i’m like heck no he’s not bringing my toothpaste so i went ahead and picked up a new one and i’ll just give him my old one so that’s what that’s what we got going on over here and then lastly i saw these and i was walking through the aisle which i am excited about because i’ve been really into working out recently but i don’t go to work out classes every single day if i’m too busy or something like that so i wanted to get some like at-home workout stuff because i have a lulu yoga mat i have the bala ankle weights which i’ll link below i get a lot of questions on the ankle weights when i show them in videos but i have been really into like doing like a lot of butt work and stuff i’ve been really into like the lower half of my body workouts so i got this pack of loop resistant bands and there’s a light medium and heavy all in this box looks like this and they were only 12 bucks so i thought that was like a pretty good deal it comes with three bands it’s just the target brand i’ll link them for you guys but see how we like them i liked how they were thick if you can see from the photo it’s like a pretty thick one on her leg and i like that because the thin ones i feel like always roll up and then scrunch down and then they end up like not staying in the right place so i feel like the thick ones really grab on to your leggings or
