Trinny Unpacks The Beauty of Vitamin C | Skincare Haul | Trinny
first brave for the basket morning everybody how are we today it is a what days it states Wednesday skincare Q&A day and I’m gonna say hi just to see if by some law D thing I get some I get some comments today we’ve got s me on the main feed to read out comments and I’ve got quite a few new products today which I’m gonna talk about from hair stuff to alpha gold lovely range alpha gold they have a very nice glycolic toner Julia Hunter I don’t know how many of you watched me on let me just clean it up watch me on Instagram and I saw Julianne – last night we were talking sensitive skin rosacea eczema all you know skin sensitivities and how she feels if you deal with your gut you can cure them so it was an unbelievable talk and really interesting if any of you suffer from rosacea because so many of you say to me I have sensitive skin can I use that product and Julia’s thing is not which product thing is you can introduce more products into your life revelation gut 5 steps a lot of it was about the oh you know following the diet of eating for your blood type which is not a diaper so it’s just categorizing your food by your blood type it’s a it’s something that started years ago but she I think we’ve listed as Mia haven’t we we’ve listed all the stuff that she talked about it’s taking a few supplements it’s doing everything to reduce inflammation reducing information reduces redness on the skin it reduces irritation on the skin so it was fantastic if you haven’t caught it go on – we’ll do it on Facebook and we’re gonna do a film on it but I mean you know we’ll soup down the film but you can go on to my Instagram – you have Instagram how many of you have it’s grown by the way how many of you have Instagram and know how to use a GTV I’m really interested in that because I will show you in a bit good morning good evening Sonia in Australia as we go comment summer please will you write down some good ones we’ve got some questions as well and I will go through all Matt’s straight in there Matt hello my darling boys and girls what’s the best and strongest at home chemical peel there are a few there’s Julia hunters peel which is strong when you keep on it keeps penetrating there is natura be sake like Oh peel which is so strong and on virtually so expensive there’s a che PHA peel from the ordinary the sort of burgundy colored one that’s full of different berries that are doing exfoliation which is quite strong don’t know how sensitive your skin is what can I use on x1 your face please darling this is another thing Erica do watch Julia hunters film on Instagram if you can get on the Instagram otherwise it will come onto Facebook and we’ll do an edit because she told staggering I know that we’ve got a little connection issue here again but I’m gonna hope I’m gonna go with it so we’re gonna hope it’s alright good evening everyone in Australia good evening Jan Marina Hannah Lynn facial scar from a spot my god one of the products they owner talk about so I will start with that how many of you in your life know what is ailing acid is I hardly knew how to type it spell it the other day a Zed ela I see now as a big acid has been in a lot of things and somebody who talks about a lot actually is the delightful Sarah jostle who’s the beauty editor of The Sunday Times and she’s also on this morning a bit she’s one of my co-presenters on this morning and a silica acid you can get professional strength but also you can get just over-the-counter and it’s a wonderful acid for somebody who wants to get rid of acne scarring not get rid of its reduce acne scarring and as an overall acid for a sensitive skin so if I wanted to put a gentle have cleanse my skin before I put on a serum I might say that zelich acid is it will slowly and gently resurface your skin it won’t be as harsh as it sort of guy colic silicic for sure you’ve got a little bit of a tingle but it really is a lot of people use so consider as a liqu acid in your life um especially if you have a bit of scarring pigmentation people use it for it’s a little magic acid not many people know about God doesn’t do one a few different people do one but this is probably the Audrey might do one as well but our garden wisdom definitely do on someone like the inky list might do one as well but do look out for it great ingredient really was I can add into your routine especially if you are you know prone to acne scarring hi mo what can I use on Perry perioral dermatitis and around your nose so oh how do you spell it sorry um a said ela I see this again I’m just gonna throw it out there watch the Julia Hunter film because that is a redness around the nose a lot of people have it to a greater or lesser degree but you know have you considered what you’re eating have you looked at when you eat certain things it’s worse is it possible that by taking certain supplements and changing a little bit your diet you could actually get rid of it I really ask you to go onto IG TV do you know how to go onto IG TV by the way I don’t if you answer that question and watch it in the meantime I wouldn’t suggest anything other than going to see a specialist and if you don’t watch as coverage and you just do something to reduce the redness and there’s a very nice little product for those of you who have redness this is another product of people with a bit of redness with rosacea here Roza leak and it’s spelt ro sa Li qu e this is great for anyone with redness it’s green green and red you put the green on first and it will reduce the red so an excellent product and it’s got a little bit of color so there’s some little pigment in there which is released so if you’re suffering tremendously and you haven’t yet watched the Julie anta how to cure a rosacea which is far more exciting then that’s a great product all right hello East Coast low art my god East Coast truth tribe oh hello darling Linda what are you doing up it’s like 9:15 I don’t know what you’re doing up but hello Erica are you miss that info with the connection issue okay who was the person you were about to see to say to what julia hunter on my instagram last night and it will be on IG TV Pixy acid it is glycolic now um you know the strongest acid if we’re talking assets and assets in your attorney who are to routine ladies just to familiarize ourselves you clean your skin clean all those pores and then you put on an acid depending perhaps on your skin condition as a sort of prep ground for a serum clean it makes all your pores sparkly and it just does a bit of resurfacing maybe would I dare admit it better than a granular exfoliation because less Scratchy perhaps but sometimes I do like with brand new exfoliation too there are different assets you can put on according to your skin type so if you have an unbelievably oily skin with a lot of spots some people recommend solicit which i think is very strong and sometimes when you are healing a spot those little products with pink in them that you don’t shake have solicit acid in it glycolic is one away from that it’s still quite a strong acid so if you’re very very oily would you use an an acid toner with some glycolic in it you might then you’ve got soft acids like mandelic and Malak these are kind of just a little gentler so I use like lactic lovely one Teresa hitomi’s lactic one I use these all the ones I use after that stage I use um Jane Trevino’s H APHA I can’t remem what’s in it now I’ve done a thing on acids of you it’s good but that’s where the uh Selleck might come in cents to be skin pigmentation issues arm scarring okay that’s that’s the order we always need to know the order so pigmentation darling Michelle I think there are those I’m going to do a proper pigmentation thing with Teresa Tommy quite soon and we will cover what you can do at home to what you can do in a salon for pigmentation christo revalue my skincare regime thanks the many of that’s very kind of you good enzyme scrub or mask I love if you’re on a kind of medium budget I adore and aloo or anti foodies hang on Ben to Cody and aloo pumpkin and honey enzymatic mask I don’t have any more here I finished it they have to Marcin have a glycolic one and they have another one but they’re adorable they’re not that expensive they’re like eighteen pounds they they’re full of good nutrients they’re a small company they have a good ethic I love them love them and Lou a and D e l owe you or a and D al o you and a new Avon skincare I don’t know well I have never used it so I have no opinion on it peptides from Medicaid I mean my regime alright let’s just look at the skin did I do this last week as me did I say hey look at my skin I’m feeling good about it no I didn’t okay so I’m just gonna take you through my skin right now because I’m feeling good about my skin I mean there are times I feel good about my skin but this time I just feel that the pore size is getting smaller and I feel I’m on a retinol routine I am loving now there’s many retinols I’ve done also with the divine had a researcher at Medicaid whole thing on retinol and what it is so it taught me so much I think if you watch that you love it I don’t know if we put it yet on Facebook but I can’t wait for you to watch it because it really made me understand the different types of retinol and retinol is like a minefield out there and people are like you’re so many because they all do this and do that now and you go like what do I do and so many of you said oh my skin gets really dried I want to use it whatever so I have gone I’ve used retinol in some form since I was 25 when it was first prescribed to me in its really original state because everything is with that retinol E word derives from vitamin A and retin-a is a very very strong derivative of vitamin A so that’s what I use first in a tube one percent I mean like burn your face off stuff and I peeled and my doctor gave to me four spots it kind of didn’t particularly how because I wasn’t dealing at the time with the inside but the side effect they discovered from prescribing retin-a for originally acne and skin conditions was suddenly people’s wrinkles got better so they was prescribing for people in the 80s with adult acne and they discovered their lines got better so all these commercial forms of retinol started to arrive and there’s retinol palmitate which our lovely doctor man said don’t even bother with because it does nothing there’s retina aids which are a derivative and some of the rationals go down and they immediately the only way ascribes they immediately know your skin they don’t have to transfer into anything else and they get working and you’ll slowly get this resurfacing of your skin and others need to go in connect with something transfer what they are become something else and then help you to resurface your skin all of them are helping collagen the mother ship for any woman over 25 is how do I get my skin to be stimulated to produce collagen collagen is that plump thing in a baby’s cheek that’s collagen that lovely area around your muscle which is soft and squidgy and gives your skin that bounce that’s collagen so putting a collagen cream into your skin or a collagen serum yes it’s going to try and replicate it but what you want to do is you want to do things that go inside they stimulate LIGO come up baby wake up and they make some collagen for you or they get your skin to reproduce at a more accelerated pace that’s what retinol do so I’ve been on retina 8 intense this is the most expensive retinol for Medicaid I have to tell you that they have a ton I love them as a brand he came on a night assault this is such a good brand I didn’t get any money from anyone as you know I just thought great I like that I like everything about it so I feel that’s been changed my skin because I always would do like a month on retinol when I was trying out new retinol products and then I’ll go to something health unit not healthy something softer on my skin because you need to I do like the ebb and flow I do like changing my routine you know there’s certain things I’ll stick to like I’ll always use I’ll always use a gel cleanser my Julian hunts gel cleanser without doubt I might go nice I might do a nice cleansing balm before because I just love that feeling at the moment I’m adoring recommend that you ladies I am adoring the organic pharmacy carrot balm I love it it’s delicious it doesn’t smell really of carrots holders no carrots no just the orange mist makes me think of carrots but there’s a lot of other good stuff in there delicious I’m also loving these are the three cleansing bombs I’m using at the moment well wild Smith which is a beautiful organic ground I don’t know much about I’m gonna look it up now um that’s how much I’ve used and it’s kind of it’s a cleansing balm but it’s a bit jelly light so you know the evolved Beauty which is a very good these two are very similar I think once we might be a bit more expensive but of all beauties like 20 pounds very nice because they I feel they’re cleaner my skin out the one thing with a with a real barmy bomb and this is something I can’t reiterate enough is if you want for all your serums on top and your building are to receive regime and you use a bomb and you take it off with a cloth and then you put up a serum in there’s going to be most likely this little film on your skin which doesn’t really let Simms get in because getting that bomb off is is tricky it’s like getting SPF out of your skin is tricky so those of you who don’t want makeup to wear SPF you so need double cleans your cleanse your skin whenever you’re doing some kind of skincare regime because otherwise it will not get through won’t get through get through okay as we give me a question well I mean I love the Julia Hunter we have finally got Julia Hunter who I did a film with on cleansers to recommend other brands if you can’t afford Julia Hunter so Esme I don’t know where that’s gonna be where can people find that have we got that Julian to film up on Instagram it will be on IG TV and then it will be going on YouTube and they’ll be going on YouTube so what I’m gonna suggest is if you’ve gone youtube in the next couple of days and you look for the Julian to film on cleansing she we’ve added to it we forced her we said we need three or four do you remember the names on the top of your head as me yeah and by the end of this film I try and tell you but they were they were enix one of them was not Simba sinker you know what I know I can’t get the email now I think I simper oh okay it’s gone I’ll get them because I am not heard of two of them so it’s quite excited yes and I think we need more good gel cleansers let me just see if you have acne a acneic skin la roche-posay effaclar really good cleanser gel cleanser you can get it from Boots and purifying foam cleanser that’s good if you’ve got a very very sensitive skin and you haven’t yet done the Julia hunter chat and look two things you can do you can just do the cleansing lotion from a van and use it as a gel cleanser it’s a bit more sort of it’s kind of like it is a gel but it’s like a gel gloopy it’s her nothingness but I would do that with a foreo and just then take it off with water um another brand which I was trying actually it’s good I’m sorry I say that was surprised cuz I just found the honest company I wasn’t sure about carnal garden arm gel cleanser and you know doesn’t smell as much and just actually it smells like I tell you what I found about this one all sorry I’m gonna be really rude now it smelt of dirty socks that’s why um now I haven’t used it I’m just gonna say that again sorry it’s a really great consistency but it smells of you know you know when you go in the laundry basket and there’s the damp socks you forgot to take out last time and they’ve been there for three you know three weeks and then they get that smell there are a lovely company I love the pram I love everything they stand for but that’s a weird smell and then finally another one which I do also like because this has PHAs which are a different type of acid that are less abrasive alright and this is near Stratos an ear starter of very very good for jock lenses by brilliant those are media priced okay I’m gonna find you the less expensive ones to marry I’m glad you enjoyed the chat last night Julia Hunter Giuliana’s list is coming it will be on that as me will you look now on the post from last night did Molly update it with the five things Julian said you should do as your steps to getting rid of skin conditions that irritate we’ve got the six brands now that Julian to recommend for gel cleansers okay Molly that has me far away it was Suki Suki you speak okay so Suki is one which is a medium price but she really races she’s looked at all the ingredients list in detail this is her comeback yes juice beauty yeah and so juice beauty I have to tell you I think it’s an expensive cleanser so I I wouldn’t suggest you spew see how she mentioned a caveat about that she said something like don’t go for one of them okay so juicy and I do love that cleanser yup next one ishka dishka don’t know it might be an American one yep it seems Burt’s Bees yeah Avalon and then house Co haschke which must be the cleansing cream okay great all right Dave honey now Anna Marie says morning did you know that boot shot the ordinary now I’m very pleased although I love the excuse to visit London so I would say the ordinary I was gonna do a film on the ordinary stuff because I think a lot of you want to understand how well do those ingredients work and my general feeling with the Audrey and I have a few of their products is they come out with amazing singular ingredients and when you want to do something which is needing perhaps a more sophisticated formula you might go to another brand which has three of those ingredients as one so as an introduction to understanding how important it is to new ingredients in your skincare wardrobe I think they’re brilliant um but the navigation of which one like for example in their retinol library which they have like several retinols their one percent is stronger than their five percent because their five percent is an already diluted form of retinol so understanding that if you look really quickly and you’ll go one percent low fiber so it must be higher you’d buy the 5 percent but it’s actually the weakest so things like that you need to understand when you’re looking at the ordinary and I I will I know you want it I will look at the website and I will kind of take you on journey of what I think works and and what you should use because it is interesting to see I I kind of think if I’m on a budget would I do it or would I save up for different things and on some categories I might do it like I love that vitamin C 30 percent more than their 23 percent by the way I think it’s a good fisherman seaside do that and I love their hand chemistry but that’s their other brand that the abnormal beauty company do I love the H APHA peel because I can think it’s so big and it’s not expensive and I use it a bit on my body I use it as a body peel because there’s it’s like a hundred and fifty ml so I love things like that buff it I never really got on with a high neuron ik I don’t really like so I think it’s too sticky and I think the molecule sizes aren’t molecule sizes I want retinols as I’ve said the one percents better than the 5% but I like it stronger so you know that’s what it is it’s give-and-take with every brand like that but there’s really good things that those things I would say you’re better off getting a really beautifully formulated thing with three of those ingredients in it and saving up for that and for going on something else excuse me sorry pixie glow tonic pasty glow tonic is a lovely tonic it’s a little acidic tonic lots of people use it I sort of sit it alongside January Labs as a sensitive version alpha hydroxy sieze I mean like alpha alpha gol alpha H brought out lots of new things they brought out a vitamin E with macadamia is to see what’s like some very pretty bottles I was just in the middle of LaPierre what’s interesting what’s interesting is it’s not that oily I was I’m really surprised oh that’s just quite interesting because I was expecting another oil like oh no the royal mile of oils but I was just thinking oh and I’m very interested that they’ve put that in a base which is a serum they’ve added vitamin E into a serum really nice it’s like they’ve acted into squalene oil you know that kind of oil that isn’t oily oil very nice love that I don’t know how much they are they sent them to me but I like that okay then they’ve got this woman be let’s talk about vitamin B this woman B is a very interesting thing to take so if you suffer from slightly spotty skin if you feel that you want something that will stimulate and make other products work I know this sounds incredibly weird but copper amino isolate is kind of that and NYADA niod did a comprar me know isolate which I loved it smells so copper all these things they’re blue they smell of copper and there’s about five brands now that do it so I’m really excited that alpha H have because now I will do a whole fab four on copper our products copper based products medicate also do here copper peptide serum and I think copper just sort of it makes other products work it cleans out the pipework is that a really odd way of putting it just gonna put it on now it loves though to be on clean skin so when you’re using copper it’s very difficult to think do I use my vitamin C afterwards but it is something if you have a slightly you know spotty skin I love it I love it on my skin this one feels a little bit like hyaluronic feels when you put it on your skin but it’s very it’s clever copper as an ingredient and they have seem to have quite a decent level and smelling quite a lot of copper but I will do a Falkor on it because something you might already be on it saying you love copper and otherwise not it’s sticky just the application but it’s exciting as me will you add that because I’ve got now my neon as we can you take the sound sorry my note I’m gonna review the Alpha H I’m going to review are the so exciting the magic 8 I’m going to review and I need a fourth really good copper and I think timeless beauty might have done a copper if you can have a look as me just to park that for me will do thank you what about a brightening peel better zoom and see for your face please this chemin C is very personal it depends on your budget it depends on how sensitive your skin is you know you can do there are a few formulations that are done especially for very sensitive skin my favorite one is deep sea which is from garden of wisdom it’s a little it’s in a little kind of serum e oil it sort of feels a bit oily this one actually and it goes deep and shibir who’s the formulator for garden of wisdom has actually done something that he felt on one hand it won’t affect you know won’t be scary on your skin but it goes very deep and he’s using some other ingredient apart from L absorbent acid as well which is what most of vitamin C products are based upon so if you’ve got sensitive skin that’s a wonderful one if you’ve got you just want to have a vitamin C in your routine but you want to kind of take it on and off I love the vitamin C pay some licks here which you put on I put it on this morning you leave it on for 10 minutes massage it in your face take it off it gives you a lovely glow it’s a great topical aa vitamin C take it lip assembly I take it I take it with these this morning this is one of my favorite vitamin C’s I take internal and external on vitamin C and it’s called zukie vitamin C zukie I get it from Victoria Health tastes fine you just kind of like do this it’s just gonna start to come up with it it tastes fine a little bit sweet a little bit chunky then you can get on to vitamin C’s or the more they have vitamin C and other things in them CEO lovely general serum that has vitamin C in it I doll that actually I’m gonna put that on this morning and then you can do quite souped-up form submission see like dr.
C bag he does a really lovely in fact I could put some of his into Sunday Riley’s this is like you can mix products by the way I believe in product mixing so I’m going to take some of his vitamin C I’ve got a bit of spillage there and I’m gonna put that with Sunday ride a1 because today I might be a little bit in the Sun and it’s quite funny because Vishal and see a lot of been saying can I take it in the summer is it something to stop in the summer it’s like oh you know the the thing I did to help my pigmentation is I used dr.
C bags vitamin C powder in my Sun cream and it really helped my pigmentation I can’t tell you enough so adding in a bit of powder into your Sun cream I think is a pretty good idea then you’ve got the kind of quite expensive vitamin C’s which are equally good the Allies of skin have a 30 what is it percentage is 38 or five thirty five percent vitamin C huge amount of vitamin C with collagen great vitamin C and then good old ce4 runic both of those are expensive so there’s options for you you know many options for you um okay next question as we give me a question for asking or ways to kind of avoid or than help sweet lines on your chest ah okay so I’ll tell you what my good friend Elizabeth Hurley does and she doesn’t have one of them but it’s a very personal choice she sleeps in a bra so when she’s asleep like that her little babies her little puppies are separated and she doesn’t get the weight of the breaths going down and causing those lines she is my age a little bit younger not one line on a cleavage so if it’s if you’ve already gone down the path of life and you’re finding hey that was like years ago and I’ve already got them then I think what you need to do is treat what’s there so you know I’ve got lines on my neck now so I’m treating what says so I do a little bit of micro needling I do a little bit of retinol like take it down to where I feel I still have lines that’s what I do but consider it’s never too late to do things that would you consider sleeping in a bra needn’t be underwire because I think that would be weird but just something that lifts and separate your breasts as you sleep if you have big breasts this is something to consider it might be that you just love that moment of being free from your bra but would you just decide to yourself when I watched any I’ll just take my bra off to give my breasts and freedom like give them a walk and then I’ll put them back on before I go to bed it’s a personal option I never somebody who’s had the weight of a breast to worry about I’ve had more the raisin of a breast to worry about so as I went into menopause with my boobs have grown but they used to be very flat so Suzanne is very good on breast by the way Penny’s saying just about that thing we talk about skin sensitivity definitely depends on what you eat my neck is red it she and so dry when I you pause and I log thought yesterday penny so cloudy off talk if you just joined us I did a talk on Instagram with Julia hunter yesterday about can you cure skin sensitivity can you cure acne rosacea and eczema and she thinks you through diet she thinks she can get you to a place where you then can say oh I don’t have to go through the skincare products which have the word sensitive in front of them so I found it so interesting okay I know path gardener wisdom c4 really I love it it’s fantastic I totally agree morning Philip it’s Samantha good morning best products for teens with oily skin and continues breakouts so again lots of things to consider with teens before you even get to products are they sleeping on clean pillowcases do they wash their hair enough is there hair in their face is there diet for because many teenage let’s face it ah you know do they pick their spots where are their spots on their face lots of questions that need answering so if you find that you’re teenagers going through a habit of not being hygienic you need to reinforce through vanity darling do you want it you know if they say I almost couldn’t say I’ve heard you say that if you do these things it will improve so you’ve got to have a shower more often it’s a boy you’ve got to have a clean pillow case you’ve got to wash your hair you’ve got to make sure at night you clean your skin so you can clean your skin with the most simplest gel cleanser all the gel cleansers that we mentioned really good dr.
Sam buntings flawless Kent cleanser dr. Sam buntings whole range very very good for acne prone skin if you’re in your teens and you already developed hormones if you’re early early teens you might want to do something a little softer it’s not that strong her stuff but maybe you know they want something more that looks pretty on the outside so 30 third or 31st state I always get the name wrong has a lovely routine for early teens which was developed by a mum for her her boys who might have had some problems with their skin and she just thought of ingredients and natural ways of doing it so that’s a lovely routine what they are eating what they’re eating the inflammation of the skin a spot is caused by inflammation inflammation is caused by you are eating something and it is not reacting well with you idea of fatica Lee believe that you could also be putting stuff on your skin which doesn’t react for you but that’s like a secondary reaction where the spots are if the spots are equal like this that’s hormonal you know it’s that on your forehead that’s kind of a little bit your food intake as well and if you’re on York then your neck Julie under was telling me yesterday about when they’re on their neck what it means and I can’t remember I’m sorry but there’s a like a mapping of wear spots are and what their what the trigger is but you know start with what are they eating what are they eating if I could get liner to stop sugar for two weeks and look at what she’s eating I might actually force her I might look at the foods on her blood type find a blood type so actually I’m gonna do that I’m gonna do I’m gonna commit to it I’m gonna commit cuz I don’t have spots anymore but I like as a few I can only say this on Facebook because if she heard me say on its Chrome she’d be mortified but she does have a few so I’m gonna go and get her you can get a blood prick test on which she do at home and send officer does your blood times like 30 quid as me can we remember we’re gonna get liners blood checked find out what blood type she is I’m gonna look at all the foods that she supposedly is good with and the one she’s not good with am I gonna look at that list of what she’s not good with and see if there’s anything there that she really eats a lot of and we’ll take it from that but I’m very interested so that’s my teen conversation with you Erica oh that’s avi I’m glad your gossip yes barrier cream you’ve got red cheeks by the end of the day use Trini London you know barrier cream red cheeks by the end a red cheeks by the end days probably you have eaten something that has inflamed your skin so a lot of people who just say red cheeks especially British people yeah I’ve got red cheeks and Julia said this yesterday you’ve got a mild form of rosacea nobody else has red cheeks you know I have red cheeks or hold on I have red cheeks properly because I’m doing a lot of retinols and a lot of treatment on my skin but generally that’s probably why but there’s slight inflammation of my skinnier because I’m doing quite a few treatments that slightly and play my skin and you know rosacea is an inflammation of your skin in one form or another so when you say by the end day you feel your skin is red check what you’re eating do you suddenly have a glass wine and you’re not good with sugar or grapes or whatever you know look at all these things a barrier cream is not necessarily gonna help that you know if you’re saying you just want a really good moisturizer then all I’m gonna review this we’re not review it it’s one of my favorite products and I gotta knew once I finished it but it’s skin protein vitamin A & C serum I love this this is great this is like I wanted all-in-one serums and I’ve been trying this and then I dropped it on the floor and I I broke it so I got a new one yeah lovely Irish facialist and the brand is is skin ingredients but this is vitamin A and C revamps revitalize and restores excellent I’m gonna review it with that too you see all these friends who are together and there’s two more friends who are gonna join that party is it God the wisdom serum with vitamin C or hyaluronic so garden of wisdom has deep sea vitamin C and garden of wisdom has a vitamin C with fur Illig garden of wisdom separately also does a hyaluronic and they do an acidic acid for different products um I love you is I’m glad to the met with the powerful helper heal up all lovely that very interesting what about mandelic acid sets the skin mandelic is good it is one that like in Teresa Tommy’s lactic I think there’s some mandelic in there as well and it’s a softer acid Julianne to use it quite a lot in her peel too so it’s nice acid you had a reduction to Dermalogica peel and a facial so I’m worried about using peels Elaine I think that it could be your skin was already sensitive and it would be good then if you’ve had it recently to avoid peels but you can do perhaps gentle acids mandelic as they’re like soft acids just to do that ever every few days a little bit of extra liquid exfoliation you need TLA Trini London anonymous I’m addicted to your products Maria that’s adorable thank you can under a retinal cream cause irritation don’t waste your money on under-eye retinal cream please don’t it’s such a marketing ploy because I think if you have a retinal cream you can use it everywhere you don’t need to use it you get an extra one for under your eyes seriously can it cause under-eye skin redness irritation if you’re using quite a lot of it it can if you have if you’re a newcomer to retinol and you’re using it every day like your other eye cream you might suddenly think that’s too much so perhaps go to every four days and see how that goes but I would I would suggest that without seeing you if that’s the only stress mica make um how can you combine vitamin C sunscreen SPF and makeup if you put on foundation you cannot put you sunscreen on okay so let me show you I did now vitamin C and let’s say today I want to do SPF good new SPF I found a SPF 50 Paula’s Choice I love my helio care I love it even do I love it more than this is different but what’s nice about this there is it’s very difficult to find an SPF 50 which you put on and you don’t feel it’s making your skin really white so yeah I feel I’m getting that coverage I need and because it’s sunny today and I’ve done retinol too lot I might want to be sitting in the garden at some stage even in a hat I would have SPF 50 so I do that and then I would go to my friends my BFF which is SPF 30 yeah because I want to have a little bit of a glow I don’t need a big foundation so many people feel they need to wear foundation more than they need to wear it I just have to throw that out there because maybe the habit maybe you’ve got into a habit when you felt your skin wasn’t so great and you put on quite a lot foundation but in fact probably now you might not need so much so do consider when you put foundation on put it on just where you need it so here I’ve done that I’ve got added protection SPF 30 if you feel you don’t need a 50 turns the color of my skin so it gives me a little bit of protection I switch and now you then said if you put on foundation you kind of put your sunscreen on so I just keep this on through the day on top up my BFF and it’s not too thick and so it works and just really look at how much foundation do you need because the thing I do if I’m feeling spots me is I will use I’m gonna cover a few protectors I’m just getting it I will use my excuse me so hayfever is just gonna come in spurts today sorry it’s it’s like 10 o’clock and you’ve got a meeting oh my god okay just a warning all right so I’m just gonna show you here I’ve put on Trini London’s just to touch and that is cream-based release I got a spot here tap that on and it’s gone we had a woman I’ll tell you a woman who suffered from really really did you see I don’t if you saw her as me on the Trini London chat this woman suffered from very bad rosacea and she ordered just a touch cute she was kind of like I don’t if I it’s gonna work and I was a bit like not sure and she sent us these pictures we can’t I mean we might put it on Trini London Instagram but it was unreal she had such bad rosacea poor love and she put it on it was like a different woman it’s incredible so I think when you have skin conditions like that then you do want to be wearing perhaps on certain days a full coverage and if you wear a full coverage then yes do you have to take it all off I think I you know I prefer Queen based things so you can build up and then you can put SPF on top that’s the way I don’t do shout out to the Trini tribe you South Wales to reach 1,600 people today 25 new sub master is staggering I love that well done that’s incredible I’m so missing Australia I can’t tell you I’m so missing my brother even though I don’t speak too much I think about him and I just look at life and Australia seems to be on a very different lockdown from the UK and I just you know I know you’re going into winter and stuff but I look and I think oh I want to be in Australia I want to be on Bronte Beach I want to be in front of the waves you know just that lovely nature everywhere gorgeous but congratulations fantastic news and you know one of my I’ve had so many good truly tried meetups and if you haven’t joined a trinny tribe yet just go on to Trini London com go to the bottom it says Trini tribe we’ve done a link to all the different Facebook Trini tries to run by wonderful ambassador dresses you volunteered to run it and it’s just a community and we have in you know in in London we have 4,000 members in East Coast of America we have about 35 around the world they’re incredible women and and great communities to join yeah okay so yes I’ve got to go now because as me is reminding me that I’ve got to go and done the painting I’m asked about and so often I’m not a huge fan of John Glenn because I just find it weird the idea of the idea of taking off all the fluff on your skin I do threading because I just think threading is a better way to do it and I do liquid exfoliation because I think between those two I’m cleaning my skin properly and I’m getting my hair off my face but I feel dermaplaning– just is like shaving I don’t know and some people on here shave and they say it’s fine but I I haven’t gone down the path of derma planing yet and I haven’t been totally drawn to it it’s like you know micro bleeding I did a tiny bit I did like five hairs here and a few here and then I just did it five years ago and it’s all probably gone away now you can see a tiny line but I don’t think I go back because I have enough or hair and I wouldn’t go back but it’s some for some people like lovely charile customer service she does micro bleeding and she otherwise would have very little brows and she has a wonderful brow so it’s brilliant for some people somebody who’s totally lost Severus fantastic but plenty I’m still you know fruit peptides are good and Alou is a lovely brand cat you made a good decision there I think they’re fantastic you had your first lot yesterday very impressed thank you very much hello I’m glad you love them um you can’t get the medicate retinoic in Australia anymore that is so gutting Carolyn gutting the inky company are great they started with one of the people who was a part of another company similar to them and they you know they are doing what the ordinary does basically but they’re a UK brand so I think that’s great everybody who can bring more active ski skincare ingredients to a bigger market I am very I think it’s very good yeah um yeah Rach Ayla when when Julia said that I mean glycolic to Julianne toe really irritates the skin it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t use anything with any glycolic in it again I think she means if it’s a very active level so the Andalou mask is a glycolic mask but I always got a really good clean from that and I think if her thing was if your skin is at all sensitive just don’t get anywhere near it so if your skin is really normal a little bit oily it’s got a bit of like colic in it you can still glad to use it it’s not like we can’t be that strict um it was just her general general feeling on stuff um anyway um I’m gonna go it was lovely as always I didn’t get through any of the other products yes my hair stuff cuz a few people were asking and I’ve been you know this is yesterday’s blow-dry with the diffuser I think I put it on some channel I can’t remember a few days ago but I bloody adore like more than any other series my hair I’ve ever used these babies and what I want to do is I want to get to a place whilst we’re still saying safety at home where I use the head less and I dry naturally and for me that always would’ve been ending up in frizz but I put on half curl activator and half the finishing serum quite generous amounts and then I sort of do that with my hands all right and the curl activates more than curl activator from [Music] Aveda took me long my turn to get that one out uh and doesn’t leave it crunchy in any way and then you just go like this at the end and I did I did the diffusing I did one or two curling tongs to no not hugely amount but excited I’m excited and you know those days when I want to have that cool straighter blow dry but this kind of day works for me okay I’m gonna go now you
