[SUMMER SKINCARE] CHĂM SÓC DA MÙA HÈ & CÁCH DẶM LẠI KEM CHỐNG NẮNG | Tinasbeautytips
Hi guys! How are you doing? It’s up to more than 35 degrees Celcius. I can feel that summer is finally here I’m sure you have plans for outdoor activities. Wherever your activities are, please never forget to take care of your skin in the skin Summer has a high UV index, which can easily affect our skin Not only just doing skincare, but also protecting the skin under the sun Today, I’ll update you my summer skincare routine, for this burning hot weather I’ll also show you how to apply foundation that is natural-looking and oil-free, but still dewy I received many questions about how to reapply sunscreen, so I’ll introduce you the product that I used to reapply sunscreen Without further ado, let’s just started with the skincare! I have combination skin.
n the summer, my t-zone gets oily, but the cheeks and both sides of my forehead is either dry or normal I usually combine different products for different areas for my Combination skin It’s not as tricky as you think.
As long as you’re careful in choosing the right product, the result will be worth it I often mix 2 types of toner for my skin The first toner is from Ole Henriksen, GlowOH™ Dark Spot Toner I already mentioned this one in my “Get Rid of Blackhead” video The main ingredient in this product is AHA acid As you know, AHA acid can gently exfoliate and brighten our skin It can help to fade away wrinkles and dark spots too Besides AHA, it also contains witch hazel water, chamomile, and lemon, which are very gentle for the skin Because my skin is oily-combination, I only use this toner for my T-zone If you have oily skin, you can use this toner for the entire face You may worry whether AHA will cause irritation if you use this every day? The answer is no, because this toner is very gentle I had experienced using it for the entire face and it didn’t cause my skin to burn or peel To use this toner, I pour it onto a cotton pad and wipe my T-zone area As you see, I only applied it on my T-zone and chins, because these are where I often get clogged pores This toner doesn’t make my skin to look shiny and sticky Next, I use an essence from H2O+, Sensitive Essence This essence is very mild yet moisturizing It’s not as rich as the Laneige Cream Skin toner which I’ve mentioned before I switched to this essence for the summer It’s moisturizing yet lightweight for my skin Similarly, I pour a small amount of it on a cotton pad and apply it to my skin I always start off by pressing the essence to my skin like this.
It gives better absorption Start by pressing onto your cheeks first Just press it gently, then wipe outward With the remaining essence, I’ll apply it to my neck areas For better skincare habit, we should start taking care of the skin from the chest upward.
Neck and Decollete are also as important as your facial skin “Is toner necessary in a skincare routine?” Face toners prep the skin for moisturizers and serum while getting rid of excess excess oil and stubborn dirt or makeup leftover on your face after you wash it If your skin is well-prepped, the next products will absorb better After preparing my skin with toner, serum is next I highly recommend you to invest in Vitamin C during Summer time! There’re so many Vitamin C products today As for myself, I always continue to research and test out new products That’s why you might see lots of new product reviews coming up soon! Not that I don’t like previous products.
I just want to test out and compare different products for better observation. Today, I’ll share with you a new Vitamin C that I like recently It’s also from Ole Henriksen, Banana Bright™ Vitamin C Serum It contains 15% concentrated Vitamin C And 5% PHAs, which is Polyhydroxy acids And Hyaluronic acid and Vitamin E This is a multifunctional serum.
Besides Vitamin C as a skin brightener for dark spots, it also has Hyaluronic acid and Vitamin E which create a barrier to protect the skin from dehydration This Vitamin C serum is suitable for both day and nighttime I use 3 pumps, for my cheeks, forehead and chin This serum has a gel-like consistency, which absorbs very fast and doesn’t give a sticky touch I massage it all over my face and move down to my neck It dries up and absorb very well Don’t forget the neck and décolleté Please always remember to take care of your neck and décolleté This serum has a citrus scent, just like the childhood Vitamin C candy The citrus scent is so refreshing As this product contains Hyaluronic acid and Vitamin E, it is really moisturizing If you have oily skin, you can end your skincare with this serum, without adding any other moisturizer You can go straight to sunscreen and makeup after this serum If your skin is dry, normal or combination, you can lock the moisture with another moisturizer The moisturizer is also from Ole Henriksen, C-Rush Brightening Gel Crème These products are like siblings All products in this line contain Vitamin C that helps brightening and moisturizing the skin I like this gel creme because it does a great job at moisturizing It can keep my skin to hydrate for 24 hours, without causing clogged pores and breakouts I will use a Q-tip to scoop out a pea-size amount and warm it up between my fingers then press it onto my skin.
It’s so lightweight It absorbs really well Besides brightening, these products can revive the dull complexion of your skin due to lack of sleep and pollution Again, please don’t skip your neck areas This Vitamin C combo is perfect for the summer As for sunscreen, I’m using 2 different products One is for face, and one for is neck and décolleté For face, I use a EltaMD UV, Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 sunscreen This sunscreen is great for sensitive and acne-prone skin.
If your skin is irritated to sunscreen, this is the one for you It is one of the best-seller sunscreens in the US, and is recommended by dermatologists Besides how lightweight and easy to absorb to the skin, I like it even more because it has a light tinted color It doesn’t give high coverage as BB cream, Foundation or Tinted Moisturizer, but it creates a sheer protective layer.
It evens out the skin tone, which is very natural You may wonder why I use 2 separated products for face and neck, because I don’t want to have the tinted color on my neck, The color can stain my cloth, so I try to avoid using tinted sunscreen for my neck areas And I already owned this Klairs sunscreen at home, so might as well use it for my neck and décolleté This one is very lightweight and non-tinted, so I use it for both face and neck Also, Klairs sunscreen is more affordable compared to EltaMD sunscreen, so we can save extra money If you prefer tanned skin, I totally understand that! However, I want to remind you that whenever you sunbath, always remember to apply sunscreen Now I’ll show you how to apply BB cream that can give a natural, dewy and oil-control base After sunscreen, I’ll apply this beauty corrector from Kaja Beauty, Cat Nap Brightener It has a light peach color, which can cover the dark circles effectively Just apply it to the under-eyes like this I use a sponge to blend it out Next, I’ll use a BB cream from Dr.
Oracle. This BB cream is suitable for oily, combination and normal skin for the summer It has a light coverage and matte finish, so it doesn’t create a thick or cakey finish After applying the BB cream, I will use a sponge to blend it out It helps evening out my skin tone and give it a healthy glow and the finish is light yet flawless It doesn’t make me look like I’m wearing makeup.
It’s lightweight and natural Before applying on powder, I’ll use blush first I’m using EM Cosmetics Magic Hour blush I use Zoeva brush, Powder Finish, and apply the blush on the cheekbones I barely wear eye makeup these days, so I just apply a bit of blush onto my eye lids It creates a healthy glow and warm up the complexion Next is powder I often choose Translucent loose powder, These loose powder doesn’t give heavy coverage, but it mostly just help with oil-control The powder I frequently use is from Laura Mercier You can also try COSRX , Perfect Sebum Centella Mineral Powder, a much friendly budget alternative Both of these powders have the same function, which is oil-control I’ll use the COSRX powder for today’s makeup I pour a small amount of powder onto the lid first Instead of using the regular powder brush or powder puff, I will use the Fan brush to apply the powder This brush is mostly used in applying highlighter I like to use it for setting powder as it gives such a soft, almost like air-brush finish It gives you a sheer makeup base, which controls the oil, but still keep your skin look dewy I dip the fan brush into the powder like this Then tap it to remove the excess powder, and apply it onto the T-zone One of the common problems is creasing around the mouth and nose areas By using the fan brush, you can avoid a thick and cakey setting finish I’ll continue to apply the powder on my cheeks You just have to move the brush gently, to apply a light layer to control the excess oil You can tell that even though I set my base with powder, my skin still looks dewy and natural One of the tips for achieving a natural makeup base, is “Less Is More” The more minimal the better Using the right amount of products to achieve the best outcome I always prefer natural makeup look to keep my face awaked and refreshing I try not to over do my makeup Since I’m wearing an orange dress, I want to use this gorgeous shadefrom EM Cosmetics, Faded Clementine I finally finished my skincare and makeup Another frequently asked question: “”After makeup, how to reapply sunscreen without smudging the makeup base?” I have found some tips and products for this concern One of the products I use is Tarte Sunscreen Mineral Powder This is a loose setting powder with SPF 30 For each use, I dispense a small amount and apply it on my skin, just like how we usually apply makeup with a brush This is translucent powder, so it won’t affect your makeup base The packaging is compact, so it’s convenient to carry around in your bag All you have to do is touch up your base with this SPF 30 Sunscreen Powder Yay! I finally finished my skincare routine, and how I apply makeup for the Summer time.
