NMN Resveratrol Metformin 6 Months Results. David Sinclair LifeSpan Review Anti Aging Longevity

hello everyone my name is hasna and today i wanted to come and share with you my experience following the recommendations in this book lifespan while we age and why we don’t have to by david sinclair [Music] [Music] what i wrote in lifespan is all of the knowledge that i’ve gained over 20 years and synthesized it into one idea about what causes us to age and uh what i believe is our bodies still have the information in them to be young again in in the same way that a compact disc becomes scratched and if you polish the compact disc you can still read the music and we’re finding in the lab that we can create the scratches in in a mouse and make it get older quicker but what’s most exciting is we’re just writing up some scientific papers now that show we can actually reverse the clock of aging a lot of my research until recently has been taking pills or put the molecule in water and drink it this is a new therapy it’s very powerful it’s a gene therapy and what it does is it reprograms the cell to read the genes as though the cells were young again and i think this is the problem with aging is that our cells don’t read the genes at the right time the way when we were young just like a scratch compact disc the reader will skip the songs so our cells are skipping the genes and this gene therapy tells the cell to read the right genes so the brain cells become young and we see the muscle cells become young again and we can actually measure the clock of aging we can read it with our machines and we see that the clock goes backwards okay so here are david sinclair’s recommendations there are there are five things that are pretty obvious and easy to do uh that’ll give you 15 years and that’s just off the top of of my head things like you know exercise the fasting don’t eat too much eat the right foods try to be plant-based get sleep have social network that gives you 15 years that’s amazing that’s not even going delving deep into my book which takes it to another level of what the best exercise and supplements probably are so that’s the good news um i do list a lot of things we could we could talk for hours about what i do page 304 you’ll see more i’m conscious that we have a microbiome that is that needs to be healthy so i make my own special uh yogurt which i mix my resveratrol in um i think i’ll release the recipe of that pretty soon to the in the newsletter if anyone would like to make it so that these are the things um i think the most important thing for anybody to live healthier for longer if there was just one thing i could say it would be eat less often don’t eat three meals a day i i literally think that that people who recommend three meals plus snacks trying to keep your glucose levels always at a pretty high level are doing the world of disservice and i’m going to go out on a limb to say that a lot of nutritionists would disagree with me but i’ve been doing this for 30 years i’ve seen what happens to people and animals when you restrict their food and it it’s all good i mean you don’t want malnutrition or starvation of course but putting the body in a state of want every day um for as long as you can do it i do it you know like i said hopefully till late afternoon dinner that’s the easiest and best thing you can do so the so the plant-based food um i think a little bit of meat’s fine especially if you work out you’re trying to build up all cups of muscle but i think that what we’ve learned is by studying the sardinians and canalians is that those diets are the best for for humans and they are mostly plant-based with a little bit of meat like fish so why does that work okay why do we think that works the two reasons one is that you don’t want to overload on certain types of pro amino acids which you’ll find in meat uh leucine isoleucine valine these turn off our body’s defenses through a pros uh pathway called mtor um they’ll probably be a nobel prize awarded for that stuff by the way it’s big deal mtor but if you’re always eating a lot of protein in terms of meat uh then you’ll you’ll never really optimize your body’s defenses so i try to eat plant-based foods but there’s another thing that that most people miss which is the xeno-hermetic molecules from plants you get those you don’t get those from meat as much uh exercise is the other thing that raises nad and boosts these longevity pathways and we’ve also known uh for centuries that this is healthy right uh so we’re not discovering anything that new other than what types of exercise seem to activate these longevity pathways the best and what seems to work best is the high intensity interval training is to get the body stressed so just as intermittent fasting tricks the body into thinking your food’s running out exercise is tricking the body into thinking i might have to run a marathon or yeah that exactly there’s a sabertooth tiger in town um okay so that that’s exactly right so the the high intensity seems to really stimulate the body’s defense networks even more than just a long walk or or a steady long run it’s all about varying it right the high the low so intermittent fasting it’s it’s food no food and intensity training is running stop running stop hypoxia oxygen hypoxia and it’s that up and down that seems to work really well that’s why whatever you’re doing do something different and get your body into shock so the the thing to think about is the concept is called hormesis but really the concept of hormesis is just whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and longer live by the way what i do is i spend about 15 minutes at 150 degrees fahrenheit well that’s reasonably intense but you get used to it then we go into the steam room and then the final thing i do is hot tub pretty hot hot water and then and then i go and dunk below the water a couple of times in water that’s less than four degrees celsius so that that’s so cold that it takes your breath away yeah yeah that’s great that anything that stresses your body puts it into a state of shock is good in the long run but a little bit of perceived adversity being a little bit too hot a little bit too cold and especially the gradient between those two which is why we jump from one to the other the next point is that i’ve looked at the literature and at first when uh i was prompted by my publisher to look into this scientifically they said you know what about this cryotherapy what do you think and a couple of years ago i had no idea that this was real it sounded like to me but i looked into it and there are two important things one is cryotherapy or cold exposure we’ll build up what’s called brown fat we didn’t know brown fat existed in humans until about five years ago typically it’s across your back and in other reasons you can see with a pet scan but otherwise it’s pretty invisible just looks like fat but brown fat is particularly healthy because it it has a lot of mitochondria and we think it also secretes little proteins that tell the rest of the body to be healthy i like that do not smoke if you smoke please please try to give up because it’s not pretty and not only are you increasing your chance of lung cancer smoking will age you we know that that clock the horvath clock is accelerated by smoking because it’s damaging the dna and distracting the distracting the pianist yeah a good sleep good sleep is very important and the last thing is stay away from stress and surround yourself with people that love you level two is taking metformin metformin activates the ampk pathways and keeps the sugar levels steady so he explains that in the short run metformin poisons parts of the mitochondria but increases increases the mitochondria account in the long run so your cells are being more efficient at producing energy so maybe uh in the short run people would feel maybe tired taking metformin but afterwards it does the opposite so it does increase the count of mitochondria which we all want so level 3 is taking certain supplements and these supplements are nmn he takes one gram a day and also with the nmn it’s uh recommended that you take tmg which is trimethyl glycine that helps the methylation of the animal especially at one gram a day if anyone is taking nmn please make sure you take tmg with it the resveratrol is another supplement he takes and he takes half gram to one gram a day in the morning with one tablespoon of the full fat yogurt because the resveratrol is fat soluble now in a recent study he talked about resveratrol powder being white i’ve been taking this brand and this is the color now after i uh listen to that podcast i bought this uh brand it’s more expensive and it’s a white powder so this one two capsules have 600 milligrams of trans resveratrol the so now for the resveratrol he takes uh quercetin with it because it’s it makes the the resveratrol stay longer in the body he also takes alpha lipoic acid and i have it in powder form because uh i use it for uh my uh skincare also i make a skincare in the house but it’s really bitter and spicy so uh i would recommend getting it in the uh capsule form not powder he takes a vitamin d3 with k2 and this is 5000 milligrams he recommends 2 500 milligrams uh i’m in the iu a day but i’ve been taking 5000 ius a day for uh quite a while and now my vitamin d is high so i’m taking this every other day or every two three days a couple of times a week and a b complex now this brand is good because it has metal folate so it’s it has better absorption and what else for the metformin i take one uh 1000 milligrams a day and when i work out sometimes i take it sometimes i don’t take it okay so for the results uh um see i’m seeing improvement i’m sure there’s more done internally that i don’t realize and that i don’t see than what i see but here are a few uh improvements uh so the first thing is when the first week i started taking the the nmn i saw an improvement in energy and improvement in the focus but then after that i didn’t i didn’t notice it that much uh another thing is all the supplements have been taken forever now i see that they’re doing what they’re supposed to do so uh the b vitamins uh are working i see less hair falling i see my hair is growing faster new hair is coming out a lot of new hair is coming out like here it used to be a bald spot and look now all these are new hairs and there is new hair growth everywhere like if i hold any hair there is a lot here done at the end and that’s that’s i love that my skin feels better uh my focus is better and i’m not saying the nmn is causing my focus to be better but whatever i’m taking for focus like alpha gpc or whatever is working better if you know what i mean when it comes to my eyes which are my main problem they’re still the same i didn’t see any improvement in tear production or anything so my final thoughts i really like this protocol i really like how it makes me feel how these supplements make me feel the only downside is the price of the nmn it’s very expensive it’s almost 70 dollars for this little bottle and if i want to take one gram this would last me 10 days so it’s very expensive but at this point i don’t take all these vitamins uh on a daily basis so if i wake up and don’t feel like taking vitamins then i’m not gonna take them and if i wake up and don’t feel like uh intermittent fasting then i i don’t like this morning i woke up i had my breakfast and all is good and this is what david sinclair says he says to keep switching things keep the body guessing work out don’t work out uh take supplements don’t take supplements take metformin don’t take metformin and see how your body reacts it’s a good idea to keep the body guessing and keep it in fear of uh of change and yeah that’s what i’ve been doing and i’m gonna keep following this protocol because it makes me feel great and i will make more videos about it more more videos about the anime more videos about metformin and if you can take a berberine does it have the same effects i mean berberine is known to lower the blood sugar but does it do the same uh at the mitochondrial level as metformin or not we need to research that and yes so please subscribe and let me know if you have any questions ask them below and i will answer you you have a good day bye [Music] you
