My De-Puffing Skincare Routine with Facial Massage | #SKINCARE

hi everyone welcome back I have zero makeup on because I’m going to give you another skincare routine this one is a little bit different because I’m not doing my nighttime routine I’m instead going to show you how to deep puff your face alright so when I say deep puff your face I mean you can wake up bloated because maybe you were drinking the night before or you had some really salty food I love myself a bowl of ramen and sometimes that makes me feel bloated and that could you know resort to bagginess under your eyes you can feel like you just look a little bit fuller in the face and not in the young I’m super cute baby that way you know and for instance something for me also is I get seasonal allergies and sometimes I don’t know when that’s gonna happen so if it’s like a really nice sunny day in the spring I might suddenly wake up with puffiness all over my face maybe I spent the evening watching the notebook and I will show where you go the next morning with puffy eyes so these are reasons why you might want to deep up your face there is gonna be a lot of massage in this video that’s gonna be one of the main ways to get rid of that puffiness but there are other things you need to think about including the types of ingredients that you’re using in your skincare first and foremost I always say you have to have slip if you’re going to massage your face you have to use something that’s gonna help give that slip so you’re not tugging on your skin because that’s the last thing you want is to tug your skin as you get older the elasticity in your skin gets worse and worse and so all that tugging eventually turns into sagginess and wrinkles and all the stuff that you don’t want to have when you’re older so you have to have this lip a lot of people will say to use oil and sometimes I do use oil if I really just try to focus on myself and make this more about self-care and everything then I’ll use an oil and I’ll do this at night but in this case this is something that I would do if say I woke up a little bit puffy and I actually still need to go out an amount for the day or I need to be on camera or you know just for some reason I need to look a little bit better this is something that I would do so step one be this this is my peach and Lily it’s their glass skin refining serum I really love this stuff I you know I can’t sing this all over social media people promoting it and I was like well it’s just a hydrating serum but I’ll tell you guys this is really awesome stuff it has nice and amide in it you hear everybody talking about this in mind these days but it also has lots of different antioxidants in it lots of different hydrators and if you don’t know what niacinamide does it helps with inflammation among other things it helps with a lot of other stuff it brightens your skin too but in this case what we’re looking for is the fact that it helps with inflammation so if you are you know puffy and swollen you want to bring that inflammation down a little bit so I’m gonna just put that on the reason why I like to use this type of serum before I’m going to massage my skin verses in oil is that this stays pretty smooth you can see like my fingers are just gliding over it and you can continue putting it on and it isn’t getting really sticky the way some hydrating serums can get I feel like it really just stays really smooth and then it absorbs into my skin it also has really great ingredients that are just really great to calm your skin inflammation hydrating like I said it’s just a really good first product to use I’m putting a little bit more when you’re going to massage your skin so I’m going to put two layers I wouldn’t normally do this but today because we have a purpose I’m putting on two layers and I’m gonna put it on my neck – I’m not really going all the way down and yes this is a little bit of lymphatic drainage that we’re gonna be accomplishing but I like to think of it more so as Dee popping so I’m gonna show you with the toilets and you’ll understand this is the tool that I’m using I’ve had it for about a month now it’s by CEO you guys have heard me talking about SIA because I’m really interested in their silicone patches I think there’s something to silicone patches and I really want them to work if anything maybe it’s like I just really want them to work so I’m very optimistic about it this is a co cryo drop and what’s really interesting about this besides the way it just looks is that it stays cool to the touch so that’s why it’s called cryo it’s a medical grade steel so it’s using that cold feeling to help to reduce our puffiness and your skin you don’t have to refrigerator because it’s already really cool but you can put it in the refrigerator for about five minutes before if you want to so I just got this out of the refrigerator and it feels pretty nice and cool to the touch I’m talking so much that my skin got a little dry so I’m gonna use a little bit more of my serum and you’re gonna see what I’m gonna do there’s more to it than just a massage and yes you can use your hands for massage yes you can use a j-roller yes you can even use a cold spoon but I really like this tool for the purposes that it has I’m going to put my thumb right here that’s a magnetic part and I’m just going to gently glide it down my neck I’m going to do that on both sides very gently and the whole point is I mean they say that you’ve got like your lymph nodes here and you’ve got lymph nodes around in this area and so you should be pushing all of that towards your lymph nodes so I’m going in a down direction but really what I’m trying to do is get that massage the circulation going and then use the benefits of the coolness to really help to deep up so I’m gonna do that three times very very gently so you just do it one more time it feels nice and cool and there will be more things that we do in this routine that cool your face and your skin this is for the beginning of it it’s just your neck I start in that area because we all want that chiseled look and this isn’t gonna change your face shape but it will help temporarily to deep up it so I’m gonna go just one more time [Music] so now I’m gonna add a little bit more serum to my skin and the way to know when you have to add more serum is you feel like you’re pulling the skin a little bit if you have any tugging you really shouldn’t have any technique happening so if it feels like you’re tugging your skin and all then it’s time to add a little bit more really quickly just to show you guys sometimes I think people think they really have to press hard when they’re using a tool like this but when I say just very gently press you just want to gently press and glide over your skin that is super important you guys whatever you do do not tug your skin because then you’re just causing damage instead of helping your skin you just want to glide truly what we’re looking for is the coolness that’s what you want I wouldn’t use your hands necessarily because they get really warm if you can’t get this what I would instead have you use is either a Jade roller or you spoon just put it in the refrigerator and take it out after 5-10 minutes it’s just not going to stay as cold as this stays because it immediately picks up the warmth from your hands if that’s all you have then go for it but I highly recommend this and it’s time I’m gonna go up with it so I’m focusing on my jawline still and then I’m going up just like this and I go at least three times I have like three swipes [Music] and I’m gonna save the eye area in the under eye area for the last part of the massage and then I’m going to add a little bit more on this line and do this eye [Music] next up is the forehead aerial so I’m adding a little bit more of the serum so I can get that nice slip so I’m going to take it and same thing I’m just gonna go this way and I’m actually coming down and around to my ear area and again I’m just gliding it because I want that coolness and that’s it I don’t hold the cold there I just want to feel the cold glide down and get a little bit of circulation going then I go over the top of my brow like right there on my brow bone so that I can move that also and then I start to move it kind of towards the center of my brows and then I move on to the other side [Music] alright here’s the last part of the massage after you’ve gotten all of that I like to go under my eyes and put a little bit more of the serum and then I flip this around to this side we’re not going to dig you’re just going to take it and you’re going to glide it just like that and again you just want that cooling effect you don’t want to tug on your skin so depending on how puffy you are you just do this as much as you want and then you can even take it and just gently press it so that it stays nice and cool there but I don’t really have you know my bags aren’t bad right now and she was a day to do this video and I’m not really puffy I’m just gonna glide [Music] and then I’m done with the massage I always rinse this off after I’m done with my entire routine but it’s really easy you just rinse it off with some water and some soap or you can sanitize it if you want to but I find this rinsing it off it’s all I need to do so the next step is to go in with something like this I don’t think you can actually get these at stores because I got this from my esthetician Vanessa Hernandez you guys heard me talk about her I absolutely love her she has changed my skin for the better and since I can’t get in to see her she sent me a little care package and that included one of her masks that she uses during her facial this is a hydrogel mask I prefer hydrogel when I’m using a mask because it’s just not as messy so this is her favorite hydrogel mask and I think you can actually order it from her if you were like email or something but these aren’t necessarily something that she’s like Sally but she does use these in her facial so I’m gonna open it up by the way so that my skin doesn’t dry up she loves the ingredients in this mask specifically so that’s why I wanted to put this one on the shell feels a little bit more cooling this is what the mask looks like I like the gel because it’s less messy it feels nice and cool because again you want that cooling when you’re gonna deep us it also has amazing ingredients like vitamin A AEC it has you know collagen is a humectant as colorado acid of the humectant as grapeseed oil jojoba oil it’s just a really nice mask and Elsa has green tea which is another ingredient that I was looking for in this routine specifically is green to you for the antioxidant properties of it so I’m gonna put this on I’m gonna let it sit for about 15 minutes and then I’ll be back [Music] [Applause] [Music] whatever you do don’t lay down you want to keep your head all right to keep us [Music] okay so I have a mask on it stays nice and cool and I would like press it every once in a while and I’m going to actually just press a little bit just gently tap the serum into my skin now it feels so good so yeah you want to keep your head upright because you want to make sure that everything is still draining all right and then I’m gonna take this it is my good science beauty is there skin firming cream one thing that I like about good science beauty is they have this proprietary ingredient they they call it good silicon plus so all of the active ingredients they have in their creams all have that so they’re all encompassed in it and then it helps to stabilize it and then deliver it to your skin in a better way so that it penetrates your skin this one has barley extract to really help to improve the elasticity in your skin because that’s what we’re also focusing on we’re not messing up or at us to city and now we’re replenishing up and firming firming they say for every we’re just adding not hydration and not moisturization that you need to really get that bounce to your skin and walk all of the benefits in from all of the other ingredients that we were putting on our skin so you want to make sure you use a nice rich moisturizer or if you have oily skin you can use a gel cream or something like that but you want to make sure you get your moisturizer on so you can lock in all those benefits and you want to make sure you get lots of hydration into your skin so that it can really look like it’s plumping bouncy and not puffy and bloated and sorry and saggy don’t you want to get that that bounce to it there’s one last step you’re going to take this peeled cucumber and what you’re not going to do is you’re not going to put it on your skin at all we like to just eat our food and not put it on our face I know a lot of people say to put like cucumber slices onto your eyes to really help cool and I get it’s a same kind of concept at the cryo drop where we’re trying to get that nice cool touch to your skin but we got that with our I would drop and our massage and then we got it with our face mask that we put on to because it was hydrogel what you’re gonna do is you’re gonna eat cucumber today I keep cucumbers in my refrigerator at all times that are really good at helping to flush out your toxins whatever that’s worth and they are full of lots of different minerals are good for your body and for your skin and they also have lots of water content so we’re eating our water we’re gonna drink lots of water today too with some lemon we’re not going to make it ice cold water because we don’t want that inside of our bodies we just want the room-temperature water a little splash of lemon eat a cucumber and we’re going to avoid all spicy things today and actually leading up to something like a fun event or something like a wedding or anything like that that you want to look nice and deep Hough or you should be drinking a lot of water leading up to it cuz if you only drink water today you’re gonna feel like you’re more bloated but if you were drinking a lot of water leading up to today and eating your cucumbers and getting all of that hydration into your body then you’re gonna feel like your body actually was already flushing everything pretty well and you’re not so bloated so it’s already the best start that you can have if anything you definitely need to get your water going in your body it’s kind of funny because you would think that you get like if you drink too much water then your body’s gonna retain more of it but it’s actually the opposite it’s you know if you’re not drinking your enough water then your body actually starts to overcompensate and hold on to more water so then you look more bloated so you want to get that circulation going massage nice cool feel to your skin to help really constrict everything use your nice hydrating serums that have antioxidants in them and nice calming anti-inflammatory ingredients like niacinamide and green tea and antioxidants but eat
