How I Got Clear Skin! | My Skin Care Routine | Ishita Khanna
I have struggled with acne during my teens when I hit puberty back in school, but that went away pretty much on its own. But when I turned twenty three, this happened all over again. Hi, you all, welcome back to my channel.
If you are new here – I am Ishita & I make videos about fashion styling and lifestyle, you can watch what more of my content by clicking on my name right down below And if you happen to like my content, please do subscribe.
So I asked you guys what you wanted to watch next on my channel, and most of you said my skincare routine. And it made sense to me to open this right now because I’ve seen immense improvement on my skin, my skin, has improved a lot in the past seven to eight months.
I did a video – seven or six months back about the skin care routine that I was following that time. And I spoke about my acne journey. So if you haven’t watched that video yet, I’m going to link it on the screen and in the description box, so you should go check that out.
So when I filmed the previous video, I was still struggling with a lot of issues, although I had gotten rid of cystic acne, a lot of Whiteheads. But I still continue to have tiny bumps all over my forehead and my jaw line at that time that since then has completely gone.
The only issues that I’m struggling with currently are sort of pigmentation on my cheeks, a slight.. they are not bumps, but sort of like depressions on my cheeks which are really tiny. But that’s the only issue that I’m struggling with.
So all the products that I’m using right now are helping me basically deal with that and of course, helping me keep my acne and pimples at bay as well .So starting off with my morning skincare routine, I start off with the Uriage face wash this is the brightening, cleansing foam.
It illuminates, clarifies, purifies, and it is hypoallergenic. I do want to tell you guys that I keep switching my face washes every two to three months just to surprise my skin and so that the results don’t become stagnant.
I follow up with a sunscreen if I’m stepping out, even if it’s for 10 to 15 minutes, I use the photo stable sunscreen. This is the emulgel. It’s SPF forty plus and it has eight hours of photo stability, broadspectrum, hypoallergenic and water and sweat resistant.
I actually mix this up with another one of the Uriage products. This is called the Hyseac Oil regulator. This was again recommended by my dermatologist. So I mix this up with the sunscreen if I’m stepping out.
This oil regulator basically helps in limiting spots, blackheads and a refines skin texture and mattifies it. I’ve been using it again for over a year now, and it really does help me a lot. If I’m not stepping out.
I use my moisturizer, which is the Epilyno moisturizer Hydrates & enhances texture. I’ve been using this for over a year or two years now and I literally vouch by this moisturizer. This again is non comodogenic, so it does not cause pimples.
So when I am stepping out. I don’t use this. basically my sunscreen doubles up as a moisturizer on those days. So that was it for my morning skin routine. That’s all I do. I am also taking these glutathione dietary supplements.
These are just dietary supplements and have been recommended by my dermat, I need to take them for about eight weeks. So I’m currently on my sixth or seventh week right now. Do note that, none of these products are sponsored.
This is a completely non sponsored video and all of these products have been recommended by my dermatologist. Let’s move on to my night time routine now. So during the nighttime, if I have any makeup on, I use micellar water I prefer using the bioderma one, because it’s made sort of made for sensitive skin.
Otherwise, if I run out of it, I go in for the Garnier or the Maybelline micellar water. I avoid using any oil based makeup remover unless I have run out of everything else, that’s the only option available.
So I remove makeup with the micellar water and then again I go in with the Uriage wash. So once my skin is completely rid of all the makeup and is squeaky clean, I go in with the FCL skin brightening complex.
This is paraben free. It has a vegan formulation and it’s got some really good ingredients. It has stuff like milk, protein, seed extract and a lot of other things. I’ll mention that on the screen. This helps me with my pigmentation.
I mix this up with the epiduo gel . this is an adapalene & Benzoyl peroxide mixture. So I mix this and the FCL Brightening complex and put like a thin layer on my skin. Now I alternate between these two combinations and another one on alternate days.
So if on a day I’m putting the FCL and the epiduo the next day I would put the Avene brightening essence active plus all of these products are recommended by my dermat. So I just want to say if they might be working for me, but they may not work for you.
So I mean, you have to consult a doctor before you pick up these products. Also, this brightening essense you can pick it up even without it, although it is slightly on the expensive side, it retails for about twenty three hundred twenty eight hundred rupees.
So it is on the expensive side but. you can definitely give this a try if you’re looking for these kind of ingredients in your skin routine. So I alternate between the combination of epiduo and FCL on one day and the avene brigthening essence on the other day, I do apply a layer of Navibrite gel on top of all these combinations on a daily basis.
This has glycolic acid, kojic acid, lactic acid and also hydroquinone. So it’s really good. It’s got all the right things which help to keep your acne at bay and also help with pigmentation. So I really hope that this video was helpful for you guys.
And it did give you some insight into my skin care routine. And you do take away something from it. Personally, I do feel like and I have realized that you need to be patient to see results on your skin.
Once again, let me tell you guys that the products that work for me may not work for you. So please ensure that you do consult a dermat before you pick up any of these, especially the medicated ones and the glutathione tablet.
And if you did find this helpful in any way, please do give that like shared and subscribe button. And I’ll see you guys in my next video.
