HOW I CLEARED MY SKIN FAST: Acne Healing & Anti Aging
four months ago in January my skin
looked like this I had a lot of adult
acne I was showing a lot of signs of
early aging I felt like the appearance
of my overall skin had just really
changed over a course of a few months or
it may be a year so and I wasn’t super
confident anymore and as you can see and
as so many of you have pointed out over
time on my social media I have figured
out what was wrong with my skin and I’ve
been able to reverse it and completely
clear up my acne I’m gonna be going over
the exact products I use for my morning
routine and my nighttime skincare
routine acne products and anti aging
products as well as the internal and
external factors that were contributing
to what was going on with my skin the
number one contributing factor to my
skin was my stress I had no idea how
much stress could impact your entire
physical body they all of my acne and
aging really started to amp up about a
year ago and what happened a year ago my
mom came to visit we had that big
blowout I had to cut her out of my life
and I was very depressed for a while I
fell back into a lot of my mental health
bad habits I just wasn’t doing well I
think a lot of you guys could see that
but now I have finally figured out how
to control that stress and I am very
happy I started going to therapy I
started talking to no more we moved out
of that apartment we were living in
where we were miserable and I started to
take CBD now I know some people have
reservations when it comes to CBD if you
are not open to taking CBD I would
recommend actual ganda that is another
type of vitamin you can actually buy it
at CVS Walmart Walgreens Target you can
literally just buy in any like vitamin
section but try to get rid of your
stressors or lower them as much as you
can
another factor along with stress was
getting my sleep back to normal follow
me on Instagram you would know at our
last apartment the alarms would go off
all throughout the middle of the night
sometimes like six to seven times
throughout the whole day and night bad
so I was waking up all throughout the
night and I was so tired throughout the
day and I didn’t realize that that lack
of sleep was showing in my face I looked
tired my skin was literally drooping
down my face it wasn’t up in perky
because I wasn’t up and perky skin
literally repairs it’s daytime damage
while you are sleeping and it says that
not enough sleep actually accelerates
your aging process so I do think that is
what was causing me to look so different
for the past
and I so glad I get to sleep again I
also added collagen into my diet and
this is so good for your hair skin and
your nails but collagen is good for skin
elasticity youthful appearance skin
hydration hair skin and nail support
healthy Joan healthy joints and bones I
am not afraid to add this shirt into
everything I typically will add a scoop
of this into my coffee or tea every
morning and then I will add another
scoop into my smoothie if I have one
throughout the day
okay one more thing before we get into
our skincare routine the last thing that
I did was going to a skin professional
I’ve always thought that I had dry skin
and then when I got in her rooms lady
was like you do not have dry skin you
have severely oily skin but because you
thought you had dry skin and you weren’t
exfoliating because if you have dry skin
you wouldn’t want to exfoliate right
because it make it more dry you know so
she said since you thought you had dry
skin and you were not exfoliating and
you were just adding layers and layers
of moisturizer on to your already oily
skin what was happening is a bunch of
dead skin cells were building up and
layering on top of layering on top of
layers on top of layers on to your skin
making your skin look dry I know that is
gross and now my skin is so much better
because I’m actually using products that
fit my skin type I have oily skin not
dry skin I will say that one thing she
pointed out which was a little like its
stun a little bit is that my oil
production was really high because I had
all that buildup and because of my diet
everyone knows if you follow me on
Instagram I like my sweets I like my
sugars I like my processed foods my food
was like 80% process and sugar and salt
and process and sugar and like 20
percent healthy foods but it really
should be like 80% good for you 20%
things you enjoy I’ve really learned how
to moderate the foods that I’m eating
and just eat better for myself and now I
notice the difference like when I eat
something super processed I will notice
the next day that my skin is a lot
earlier than a day it was before so when
I wake up if my face is not oily
whatsoever then I’m not going to touch
it with any kind of cleanser if my face
is oily I literally just use typical
stridex pads
this is what the dermatologist
recommended me and he used like a
alternative version that’s fine these
are like 2-3 bucks so I’m fine with it
but whether or not I use the pads the
only thing I put on my face in the
morning when it comes to skincare is
this Kate Somerville dermal quench
liquid lift this is basically just like
a hydrating treatment that you put on
your face in the morning before you do
your makeup if you don’t have super oily
skin you could obviously follow this up
with a moisturizer I don’t need to do
that because my skin is already very
moisturized and then I follow up with my
guava guava is amazing for deep puffing
and like anti-aging lifting the skin I
found this when I first went to that
skin appointment she GWACs showed my
face and said that I my skin does hold
on to a lot of water this is gonna leave
your skin a little bit red after you use
it if you don’t have time for the
redness to go down you have to go to
work or something just use them at night
there is no difference I know most
people actually tend or prefer to use
them at night like with their skincare
routine but like maybe after you put
your moisturizer on or any kind of
anti-aging cream or oil you could use
this then that would be perfect I just
prefer to do it in the morning because I
don’t have a lot of skincare that I do
in the morning so it just makes it
easier for me but do whatever works for
you and that is everything that I do for
my skincare in the morning it’s super
simple and easy and then here’s the
kicker for me I stopped wearing
foundation I have very sensitive skin at
putting foundation on is going to break
me out I have larger pores because I
have oily skin so it’s very easy from my
pores to get clogged and there were some
tough times and there still are some
tough times where I will have you know
some hormonal acne and I just want to
cover it up with foundation but I don’t
because for me if I go and put
foundation all over my skin I’m gonna
have a double the breakouts the next
morning another thing I stopped using
Neutrogena face wipes been looking
online it says that face wipes are not
best for people that are acne prone
individuals as the film left the film
it’s so confusing the film left behind
could clog your pores and result in more
breakouts after I put on my makeup every
day this is the setting spray that I use
this is the Kate Somerville SPF 50
makeup setting spray
now I actually also use this on days
that I’m going outside and I’m not
putting on makeup because it is an SPF
50 which is really good for your skin
it’s my makeup like my bronzer lasts all
day long my skin looks really nice I
think it also adds so that like blurring
effect okay my night skin care is where
it gets a little crazier so let me get
on
so to wash my face the only thing I use
is the Kate Somerville exfoliating
cleanser this is a daily foaming wash
with gentle exfoliating since I have
oily skin I do need to exfoliate more
now now king Somerville has the best
cleansers in my opinion I will use this
four to five times a week but on the
nights and my skin needs a little bit
more exfoliation when it’s starting to
build up I will use the Kate Somerville
exfoliate intensive exfoliating
treatment just like a really exfoliating
face wash if you don’t wear makeup one
day like say I wash my face last night
and I didn’t wear makeup today I am NOT
gonna wash my face that night I’m just
going to let it breathe let’s talk about
like my aging products my skincare night
products these are the only three that
I’ve really used this glow recipe
watermelon pink juice hydrating I put
this all over my face three to four
times a week at night after I wash my
face I don’t do it every single night
because it is an oily product my skin is
oily I don’t need a ton of oils on my
face there are a ton of amazing
overnight masks what I recommend is to
just find an overnight mask and stick
with that one for a while I think a
problem a lot of people have with their
skin is they’re constantly trying out
new products I notice when I was doing
that thing where companies would send me
products and I would try all of them my
skin was a lot worse it would get
irritated a lot more because was always
using new ingredients on my skin and I
know there are people that say
completely different things I’ve had
people say that if you use the same
product over and over and over that your
skin adjusts to it that could be true
but it’s not going to adjust to it in
two to three days I know a lot of people
will use like this product for two days
and they’ll use a different brand for
two days and I’ll use another brand for
three days I just like to use I’ll show
you I literally have the same thing in
another empty container with barely a
little left I wait until I use the whole
thing before I throw it away so I am
gonna use all of these and say when
these two are completely done which is
like six months worth of product then I
might go and try a different overnight
serum just to try it out I’m not
switching back and forth all the time
that way my skin doesn’t get used to the
product where it no longer works but it
does get used to the product in a sense
it’s not breaking me out or irritating
my skin this is an acne treatment from
Kate Somerville if you do get like big
hormonal acne your big breakouts like I
used to do like big whiteheads you put
this on the
before you go to sleep you wake up and
it is half the size okay so another tip
is to make sure you know how to use the
products you’re using when I first got
this I was putting it all over my face
on my eyelids under my eyes and
everything but I noticed while my skin
was looking radiant under my eyes like
right in this area I was getting all of
these like little these little bitty
bumps like there were like little tiny
blackheads but they were like bubbly
almost does that make sense I found out
that there’s a reason they make eye
treatment products different than skin
treatment products because under
underneath your eye it’s more delicate
and these creams or oils you put all
over your face may be too thick or too
heavy for your under eye area I am gonna
link to every single thing that I talked

am also going to try and find some
alternatives that are cheaper to some of
these items if I can I don’t want anyone
to watch this video and think that you
have to be perfect or your skin has to
be perfect because acne is just
something that happens I am still going
to see breakouts from time to time and
I’m not gonna stress over it as much as
I used to because that stress is only
gonna make it worse so I just accept
that I’m a human and even right now I
have one or two bumps on my face and
it’s okay
but this answered all of your questions
