Hannah Stocking’s Skincare Confessions | Masked And Answered | Marie Claire
– Rapid, rapid, rapid fire.
Rapid, rapid fire.
(meows)
– Hey, I’m Hannah Stocking
and this is Masked
and Answered with Marie Claire
(upbeat music)
Today, I’m going to be
maskin’ and chillin’ with you
while answering some beauty questions.
This is my cat Ava and I
have my iced green tea,
let’s do this.
I am going to apply the
Loops clean slate mask,
and I love this mask so much
because it’s so hydrating,
detoxifying, soothing,
and cooling which I love
because it just wakes me up for the day.
It’s great because it works for everybody,
even men who have beards,
because they can just wear
this top mask for them.
And it holds on to your skin
so you can do whatever you wanna
do in your morning routine.
Whether that’s making coffee
or building a bird house, your choice.
(laughs)
– Can I walk you through my
nighttime skin care routine?
Absolutely, so first I wash
my face off with Dove soap
and whatever extra makeup
that I didn’t get off,
I can get off using my
trusty grape seed oil.
(dings)
And it really helps get
off any extra eye makeup,
and then I apply black castor
oil to the ends of my hair,
and then last but not least,
I use loop space mask.
So what kind of music do I like to listen
to when I’m getting ready or masking,
and that would 100% be
movie scores or composers.
Currently, I’m really into
Hans Zimmer, Ludovico Einaudi,
Thomas Newman, John Williams,
or I love the occasional podcast.
My favorite at home beauty
ritual would be going
in my shower, making
the water extremely hot
for one minute, and then extremely cold
for another minute.
I feel alive afterwards, I literally feel
like I could do back
flips even though I can’t.
What…
(Meows)
What’s my favorite…
(laughs)
Beauty habit that helps me
unwind after a long day,
would be cuddling with Ava,
enjoying a really nice face mask,
some great tea, and great company
and sitting by the fire.
I really enjoy yoga.
I do feel a difference in my skin.
It’s a little bit more glowy
because yoga really helps circulation
so I enjoy yoga, as well.
Am I more of a skincare,
makeup, or hair person?
Makeup 100%.
When I apply it myself, I am
very minimal with my makeup.
However, I really love
playing with makeup,
especially if I’m getting it done.
I love playing with colors.
I think it’s an amazing
way to express yourself
and really show your character
and it really helps you
transform too, it’s a lot of fun.
The craziest beauty
treatment I’ve ever had done?
Can I say microblading?
I have my eyebrows microbladed,
so they’re actually tattooed on my face.
You can call me a sound cloud rapper.
I have face tattoos.
I would say when the sun is
shining, the weather is sweet,
make you wanna move your dancing feet.
Who sang that?
Bob Marley, and I didn’t
answer the question at all.
(record scratch)
When do I feel my most beautiful?
I would say when I have
glam on, my hair is done,
and I’m surrounded by people I love
and I’m laughing because I truly feel that
what you’re feeling on
thew inside radiates
to your outer appearance.
Okay, so now I’m going to remove the mask.
Yeah, I love this feeling.
And then I like massaging
the serum into my skin
because it just feels so hydrated, smooth,
and firm now.
Whee, and I also like to
rub some of the extra serum
on the back of my hands,
especially since I’m washing
my hands so often now,
and another thing that
I really love so much
about these masks is
that they’re compostable,
they’re cruelty free,
and for all skin types.
(swish)
Thank you so much for
watching Masked and Answered,
maskin’ and chillin’ with me.
I hope you’re all
practicing social distancing
if your situation allows
and that you all stay safe
and healthy for yourself
and for those around you.
(beep)
Take 200.
Do I deal with…
(laughs)
Take 201.
(claps)
