hey everyone welcome back to my channel i hope you are having a fantastic day and today i want to share with you i guess just product recommendations these are products from deciem that i love and i decided to separate this idea into two different videos for you guys because i feel as though people who are interested in the ordinary or hylamide may not be very interested in neo products and vice versa so hopefully by separating the categories it does help you out a little bit more so today we’re going to cover neod and then later in the week we’re going to cover hyaluronide and the ordinary i like to share here on this channel so without further ado let’s get into it so later on this month i do have my top five products from neo that will be going live on the channel and in that video i will talk in a lot more detail about you know formulation and consistency and you know all the nitty gritty that i tend to cover when i do product reviews but in today’s video i’m very aware that some people just want to know which products are great which products are great for their skin type or their skin concern and they’re not necessarily as interested in all that other nitty gritty that really excites me so i’m just going to keep it really simple for this video we’re just going to talk about which products are great why they are great and why you may need them so the first product that i know that you need to know about is the multi-molecular hyaluronic complex and this is basically a hydration serum and this serum contains 15 forms of hyaluronic acid compounds and these compounds all have different molecular weights to them and that is really handy because if you have different molecular weights then the hyaluronic acid compounds are able to travel to different depths of the skin to provide hydration to the cells and tissues and something that i really love about this serum is it really goes beyond just straight hydration which is basically i think where the buck stops when it comes to the ordinary hyaluronic acid serum this one goes beyond that it’s more about longer-lasting hydration and also helping your skin to retain its own hydration and really working with your skin to basically boost up your skin’s ability to produce its own hyaluronic acid and this also works to strengthen your skin’s lipid barrier which is really key to targeting dehydration within the skin by strengthening that lipid barrier you’re going to help your skin to really naturally retain and lock in all that hydration rather than have it escape into the environment i think this is great for all skin types because to some degree we all need some hydration in our skin but this is especially fantastic for somebody who has really immensely dehydrated skin and also skin that is quite dry i say that because this does have a lot of technology that goes in it that is going to support the skin long term in comparison to say the hyaluronic acid from the ordinary that’s going to provide straight hydration that might be great for somebody that has a little bit of dehydration problems with their skin but nothing major if that is you go for the cheaper one but if you have a much more deeper rooted problem you need something that’s going to have that additional support system to help your skin retain hydration but also to help your skin to produce hyaluronic acid next product i want to talk about is vitamin c and here we have the ethylated alloscopic acid 30 network and this is by far one of my favorite vitamin c’s it is beautiful for brightening the skin for helping with hyperpigmentation antioxidant benefits it is just a beautiful product this uses a vitamin c derivative it uses ethylated teloscopic acid which is one of my preferred vitamin c derivatives because it is very stable in the skin but for me personally through my own experience it’s also really effective and the vitamin c is suspended in an antioxidant network which is where the term network comes from it contains superoxide dismutase selenium and also zinc and that’s really important because it’s going to protect the integrity of the vitamin c when it is on your skin as for who i think would really enjoy this product definitely if you want to add antioxidants to your routine this is a nice product but it’s also pretty pricey if that’s all you want to focus on there are much more affordable vitamin c for that but if you do want to focus more on the anti-aging benefits so stimulating collagen production in the skin then this is the type of vitamin c to go for or if you want to brighten your skin and achieve a more uniform complexion hyperpigmentation if that is you this is a really nice product again to go for but there is a caveat there and that is the fact that you know if you have really old scars that are really stubborn to treat you’ve tried so many different things on them tried a really focused routine targeting hyperpigmentation and it still has not changed at all in that case i’d say you’re probably best off going to see a derm or an aesthetician somebody who can perform basically more advanced treatments because i think that’s going to be much more effective for you it’s a better bang for your buck and you’re actually going to get the results that you want as opposed to wasting your time with these products over the counter that quite frankly may not do anything for you you know what i mean so i i always say that when it comes to treating hyperpigmentation because depending on how old the hyperpigmentation is depending how far in the skin it is it really does affect how easily it is going to be to treat another product worth mentioning is the non-acid acid precursor and this is a really interesting product because it’s going to offer a really gentle very slow very gradual exfoliation to the skin with no acids and minimal irritation and this might be a fantastic product particularly for those of you who have really sensitive skin for those of you who have acute inflammatory responses in your skin such as rosacea or maybe you can use chemical exfoliants but you’re a little bit iffy because of the side effects that are associated with using them or overusing them on the skin um so you want to be a little bit more gentle with your approach if that is you this is a really nice option but if you’re somebody who is well-versed in the world of chemical exfoliants would i recommend this for you absolutely not because i think that you would likely just be really underwhelmed by it because the results are extremely extremely gradual and i feel as though you’d probably be scratching your head thinking what is this doing for my skin in saying that i don’t want you guys to be turned off the idea of really slow and gradual success because it’s not really about time it’s about getting you to your skin goal with as little irritation as possible because at the end of the day if you’re just using a product on your skin that is causing irritation your skin hates it you’re going to end up pushing your skin goals back and you’re going to have to deal with a lot more problems that comes with irritation and over treating your skin in comparison to just going a little bit slower and getting there with minimal irritation now this next product is definitely not for the faint of heart it is the flavonoid mud and to say this is intense is probably an understatement this is a mud mask and i think the best thing it does is decongest the skin it gets into the pores it cleans them out making the pores look a lot tighter and smaller and it also just works to make your skin look a lot clearer and if you have a special event that you want to look absolutely smashing for what i recommend is to use this mask every day for five days and at the end of the time your skin is going to look bomb absolutely beautiful it is my favorite way to use this mask i think the best way to describe this mask is it kind of feels really warming on the skin to the point that you might actually be a little bit concerned like should you be taking this off is it supposed to be as warm as it feels on the skin and it’s quite interesting to kind of hear like your internal dialogue you know do you take it off or do you risk it for the biscuit what do you do i do highly recommend you do a patch test because otherwise the warming sensation will probably put the fear of god into you so patch test prior to using is the best recommendation i can give you and something i really love about this is the spreadability of this product on the skin you just need a really tiny amount of product and it goes a really long way to form a really nice thin layer on the skin and i think that it kind of makes the price per use of this product actually a lot more reasonable than just you know looking at the whole price of the product as one and for me personally this is one product that i wouldn’t want to willingly pay full price for so while it is on sale i would definitely consider it now this next product i have to talk to you about is the hydration vaccine and this is one that i think is one of the less known products don’t sleep on this product is all i can say if you have skin that is really dehydrated you have a very compromised barrier this is a product that you should be really looking at it’s basically just a jar of kind of feels like silicone it feels like a primer on the skin but it’s a lot more lightweight it is a lot more breathable and it’s really cosmetically elegant and basically you put this product on after you have your serums and before your moisturizers and it’s going to create the most beautiful breathable barrier on the skin it’s going to help to trap in water so it’s going to retain hydration for a longer time and because it is so cosmetically elegant there is no residual associated with it you can use this both morning and night and i’m going to completely level with you this does feel extremely strange on the skin and does take a little bit of time to get used to because when it comes to skin care we don’t often associate really rich silicone based products as skin care we associate that with makeup once you play with it a little bit you figure out exactly how much of the product you need on your skin because a tiny amount goes a long way you kind of just get used to it when you realize the results and it’s it’s honestly become one of my favorite products to use it is beautiful now if you have skin that is showing visible signs of irritation so redness dryness itchiness kind of feels like wind burns stinging on the skin this might be a product for you it is the modulating glucosides and this is a really underrated product but hand on heart every single person that i have told about this loves it and this is a really interesting product it doesn’t actually work to target the root cause of the irritation within your skin whether it be you know like an environmental aggressor or whether it’s something internal but what it does do is it targets the symptoms that are associated with that irritation that is making your skin or you just really uncomfortable so it’s targeting the itchiness stinging the redness in your skin and it’s soothing that and the final two products i want to talk about is the copper amino isolate serum and also the copper amino isolate lipid and i love both of these products i think these are both beautiful products to incorporate in any skincare routine copper peptides are really good for just optimal long-term health of the skin in general but also they’re very reparative for the skin really healing and also they help to stimulate collagen production in the skin so it’s going to help to keep the scaffolding off your skin nice and strong and that’s going to work to better support your skin keeping your skin really firm and supple and when you look at these two products side by side visually consistency wise they are really different from each other so the copper amino acid serum is very thin and watery there is no residue with it at all it absorbs very quickly into the skin fantastic for morning and also night time and the copper amino isolate lipid it kind of feels you know what let me get it for you so that’s all i was able to get out and it has a really oily feel to the skin it kind of feels really emollient almost and you just need a tiny amount a pea-sized amount is all you need of this product in fact i find when i use this i get a lot more uses out of this than i do the copper miner isolate serum this is just so beautiful in the skin and when you rub this onto the skin it does feel not oily and greasy but you still feel that something is there and so for that reason i typically would only use this in my pm routine whereas with the copper amino acid serum you can use that both morning and night if you want to and basically the main difference formulation-wise between these two products is the different drivers that are used to get the copper peptide into the dermal layer of the skin where it’s going to do all of its beautiful work if you want to target you know just general signs of aging on the skin as well as skin texture then the copper amino acid serum will be the one that you would probably want to go for if for example your key concerns are more to do with increasing moisture content within your skin and also addressing volume so making sure that the scaffolding of your skin is nice and strong so that it supports your skin really nicely preventing that
