Best Skincare Routines for 20’s and 30’s: How to Keep Skin Looking Young + 5 Anti Aging Tips

every year as you age so does your skin although I know a lot of you guys are gonna tell me that oh my god your skin is fine your skin looks amazing you don’t look like your age but let me tell you there has been a lot of work put into the skin today’s video is all about sharing those secrets with you first of all let’s talk about skin I’ve asked all people so what do you use on your skin there I said to me soap nothing water I need to tell you some of the reasons why you definitely need to look after your skin because it will repay you in the future and then I’m gonna give you five main things that you should concentrate on in your 20s when it comes to skin care make sure before we jump into the video you’ve subscribed hit that notification bell and select all notifications because you don’t want to miss anything okay so I want to go through the five key reasons on how we age and why we age number one is UV now I’ve talked about this before in ton of my videos about UV being the number one killer not only for your skin your health in aging because it is one thing that your skin is going to take the longest to come back from UVA B are both rays that you can’t see and they penetrate deeper into your skin and it kills the skin cells as well as it damages a lot of the production of collagen elastin so all those things that helps make your skin plump and beautiful it’s going to destroy that it doesn’t matter where you’re going definitely 100% will get you the exposure so make sure you’re putting on sunscreen number two is dry or unwashed dry skin moisturizing skin is the number one most important thing and what I mentioned moisturizing that includes the whole face which includes the eye area the eye area is the only place in your whole face that does not have any oil glands so it is not going to produce its own moisture it is where you show signs of aging first you need to provide external moisture to make sure that that area is hydrated so you’re preventing premature aging which is what’s happening with a lot of people who don’t use eye cream okay number three is lifestyle and I’ve talked about this before everything starts from within so you need to be eating right you need to be sleeping well from the of 11:00 p.

m. to 2:00 a.m. is when your body is in rejuvenation mode your livers a detoxing your stomach is winding down you know your heart rates drops and then your skin is in rejuvenation mode it’s going to replenish itself and that’s why the next morning when you wake up your skin is always looking a bit better or brighter number four is free radicals and you’re like what what’s free basically those things are terrible it’s in the air is pollution it’s things that you know come from factories and cars and just dust and all that stuff is terrible for your skin we can’t do anything about that because that’s just a society and the world that we live in today the only thing we can do is try to protect our skin from it and also putting in all the ingredients that can help battle these free radicals at night so using vitamin C hyaluronic acid those are things are going to help your skin fight of those free radicals last but not least is taking care of the collagen and elastin production in your body so as I mentioned once you hit about 24 or 25 everything starts to slow down and that’s when you need a little bit more help from you personally to help boost your skin’s production doing things such as facial massages to help stimulate the blood circulation in the skin so your skin can better absorb these products and produce its own collagen and elastin fibers so I’m just gonna get Felicia to talk to you guys about the skincare routine that you should be having in your 20s alright so skincare in your 20s basically all you want to do is really find out what skin type you have so you know which products you’re gonna spend your pretty pennies on because in your Tonys as Mia said we are lucky to have that natural collagen production we can bounce back from acne scars like no tomorrow you would just sleep it off so first off is a cleanser upgrade your soupy cleanser if you’re still using a bar of soap that ain’t good enough you find a cleanser that works with your skin tone whether it’s oily dry find out what skin you have and then get a cleanser that’s like adult cleanser so if you’re oily I can only speak for myself get anything with charcoal because charcoal really draws out the impurities and this is a daily detox scrub from derma e that I use all the time and it’s gentle enough to use every day if you’re drying you want to make sure the cleanser is really nourishing skin and not stripping away too many oils so that’s the biggest thing to keep in mind make sure the cleanser isn’t too dry and if you have acne find something with a little bit of salicylic acid and that will really help turn down the inflammation and the redness second thing you might want to double into the realm of micro scrubs the one I’m currently using is this one from oak it’s the microdermabrasion scrub micro dermabrasion just means the scrub particles are actually really fine so it breaks down the dead skin that’s sitting on top of your face and it’s a shed that so it reveals fresh babies but underneath and these scrubs you want to use at least like three to four times a week depending on how sensitive your skin is because you want to start doubling into more of these gentle renewal products a micro dermabrasion is the way to go don’t go for anything that’s too abrasive we’ve talked about this plenty of times and then moving right along you really want to get serious about moisture people so find a moisturizer that again is well suited for your face if you have dry skin look for hyaluronic acid so that’s going to help like replenish your skin and the number one reason for wrinkles and dull skin is that your skin is not hydrated moisture moisture moisture find something that’s really suitable for your skin especially at night because nighttime is when your skin is soaking everything up so just keep in mind whatever it is that you use hydrated skin will prevent you from so many problems like bacne dryness healing if your skin is well hydrated with the right moisturizer you will have very minimal problems my friends moving on to the next one maybe you’re a little bit more of a skincare guru so you might want to look into like a KJ peels or acids or things like that and kind of experiment with your skin and slowly build up the tolerance towards it actually really good for your skin at removing the surface layer cells which is one of the main reasons why you get breakouts and pimples because you’ll pores are clogged with dead skin so things like these HHA peels BHA just kind of gently shed that skin for you to peep out the next and last I haven’t really talked about make up but there’s a reason for it because I think in your 20s you are lucky to still have that natural youth and so I don’t think we should waste all those years by covering it up I like to just cover it with very natural and not too heavy products and one of my favorite products to use as instead of a foundation is CC cream because it gives coverage it’s got a lot of color correcting properties and also a lot of antioxidants in a lot of the ingredients but it’s not as heavy as a foundation where it will block your pores the more important thing is figuring out a skincare routine that actually makes it easier so you don’t have to wear a lot of makeup so in your 20s that’s all I really want to highlight it’s all about figuring out what you’re working with and also preventing for the lighting is and yeah is that enough Mia over to the 30s okay so back to me I think when you’re in your 30s you start to show little signs of aging here and there and there just come naturally because doesn’t matter how well you talk to your skin you’re still gonna see that little signs you’re just delaying the aging process the main thing in the thirties is to upkeep what you’re already doing in your 20s okay so the biggest difference in your 30s I feel like adding in more ingredients into your skincare routine such as retinols are also very good for anti-aging so retinol is a ingredient that not only helps to get rid of excess sebum it actually strips away a lot of the skin to Alette the healthier skin underneath shine through and that’s shown a lot of results in terms of reducing the appearance of wrinkles fine lines we’re proving the texture of the skin so your skin looks more smoother and I personally have use retinol products and I love it but the only downside to retinol products is that you definitely have to up your UV game which means that you need to 100% whereas sun protection on top in the next day because you want to make sure you’re not undoing all the great work that you have done with the retinol the night before in additional to retinol creams there are also anti-aging creams that contain peptides and these are things that help collagen elastin fibers as well as allowing your skin to retain its moisture and firmness so using a night cream we’ll help rejuvenate your skin our night time is gonna be very important that’s gonna help your skin feel more plump and firmer instead of doing like clarifying or purity mask in your 20s we’ll be doing any aging framing a lifting mask in your 30s and I feel like that was the biggest change I’ve had in that shift of time which I find is really great because my skin is able to take that I can definitely see a difference in my skin when I switch out my routine last but not least is age spots and those are the biggest things I’ve noticed in my 30s and they pop up or the areas where you’re most exposed to the Sun but for me it’s along the cheeks and a little bit on the nose as well they’re different – freckles because freckles are more normally genetics to kind of born with them whereas age spots appear later in life so after you’re 20 sometimes in your 30s or 40s even later on and they’re a little bit different – dark spots which come up from hormones after you had a baby or sometimes some medications can cause is that what are you younger you even if you don’t put on sunscreen you feel like there’s not much of a difference to your skin you might burn a little and everything peels off and you’re fine but when you’re getting into a later 30s or even further down the track your skin’s not going to bounce back as well it doesn’t have the same amount of collagen elastin doesn’t have the same amount of moisture so when it gets damaged it’s gonna show up with age spots it is melanin and it is going to pop up on the surface of your skin the only way to reduce melanin is a long whole process of using products that will help break down the melanin and then prevent your skin from having extra exposure to the UV rays which is what is causing the melanin production in the first place of course using products will help break down the melanin but also up keeping your food intake on minerals and vitamins that will help break down the melanin and prevent your body from producing more melanin all right that’s it guys I hope you enjoyed this kind of video just remember at the end of the day prevention is better than cure and your skin is the largest organ on your body so you’re stuck with it make sure you invest and spend time on looking after and also just keep in mind aging is just a part of life it’s not the end of the world we all age and it’s about aging gracefully and aging in the way that you feel comfortable with so just stress less and I hope this video will help you in some way if you have any questions remember to leave them down below and don’t forget to like and share with your friends and family and we’ll see you the next video [Music] [Music] [Music]
