Antiaging İçerikleri │ Yaşlanma karşıtı ürünlerde hangi içerikler olmalı? 🧐

Hello everyone! I am sure that I am gonna be talking about a topic today you will be interested in.
As you see, I try to shoot videos according to your request. This topic is one of the most requested topics.
I’m gonna talk and give information about antiaging ingredients.
If you like this video, I would shoot further videos about antiaging.
Firstly, what are the problems that mature skins faced with? Let’s talk about this.
First one, wrinkles. The other problems are the loss of skin elasticity, skin sagging and age spots.
and I also wanna point this out, none of the ingredients I am gonna talk about is going to remove ages from your skin.
But still, you can see the positive effect of the products you use in the long term, if you choose the right ingredients, of course.
I am gonna talk about what is included in terms of antiaging. These ingredients should be in your essence, serum, or night creams that will stay all night
Of course, I am gonna talk about the ingredients that have proven effects.
If the products you bought don’t include the ingredients that I will talk about, they can’t be accepted as antiaging.
Remember this. Those products would not be effective. That’s why it’s better to inform yourself with these ingredients.
Come! Come on!
Then, I begin with the first product. The first place is, I don’t know if you are surprised, belong to sun creams.
I am not tired of saying but you may be so listening. Sun cream should be essential for your life.
Sun cream is something that you should put on your skin 365 days. Begin to use whatever age you are,
you will see the effect. Don’t think that you are late to start. Begin to apply it at any age. Make it your habit.
Remember that sun creams have more antiaging effect than any other antiaging product on the market.
Our essential product is sun cream.
For the ones asking “Will I use in winter?” Yes. It is needed to be applied for 365 days.
UVA rays, which are causing photoaging, fall upon the Earth without losing any power
Even, I don’t want to scare you but the damage of sun rays starts from the first minute it hits your face.
Even in the cloudy weather, UVA rays fall upon the Earth.
I have a very detailed video on my channel about suncscreens.
There, I give many details about especially the photoaging damage.
Please watch that, if you haven’t watched because I can say that the most important video on channel is that video.
The only thing to age your skin is sunrays, indeed.
Besides, if you wanna prevent the spots and destruction of collagen and elastin that UVA causes, sun cream should be in your routine.
For the ones who want to get a tan, I can say it transparently that if you get a suntan, you make your skin older drastically.
It is thought the tanned skin is healthy skin but tanned skin is dead and damaged skin, indeed.
Don’t think like the tanned skin looks healthier, actually, you damage your skin so badly
Also, you increase the risk of skin cancer. I am not gonna go deeper in the topic.
I would suggest you change your mind in this case. Rather than “I want to suntan”.
You can make putting sun cream on a habit and if you wanna look bronze, you can put colorful BB creams later on
but don’t burn yourself in the sun. If you don’t want to get sun spots, skin cancer, or get older, sun cream should be the essential product for you.
Let’s go through chemical acids. These are the ingredients you can see the effects in the short term.
But they should be used very carefully. Generally, if you use highly concentrated chemical acids, these type of products are not suitable for everyday usage.
You should use 2, max 3 times a week, dependent on your skin’s tolerance.
If you haven’t used chemical acids before, you need to make your skin adjust to iy slowly in order not to damage skin barrier.
As I said, with dependence to the dosage, chemical acids should not be used more than 2-3 times a week.
and let’s underline that if you use chemical acid, you definitely should put sun cream on every morning.
If you don’t rely on yourself about sun cream, definitely don’t use chemical acids.
Because if you don’t use sunscreen, products that you use for antiaging purposes might makes your skin age faster.
the chemical acids peel the top layer of skin, makes it more sensitive to sunrays.
Accordingly, the products you use for spot problems, wrinkles problem might make you more spotted and wrinkled.
I’ve made countless warnings, in some videos, please don’t neglect to use sun cream if you decide to use chemical acids.
Now, let’s talk about the most beneficial chemical acids for antiaging.
In the first place, retinol and from their families, retinoids.
Retinols are really known as the king of antiaging. Very effective and you can see the effects in the short term.
but as much as it is difficult to make your skin adjust to it. There are also side effects, it takes a long time for skin to get used to.
You need to use it carefully and make your skin get used to it slowly.
Retinol is a derivative of vitamin A, by the way. It has a peeling effect. Make your skin get rid of dead skin.
It makes your skin smooth. Not only this but also it is very good for dark spot problem. In the meantime, it is known as its support for collagen production.
It is been researched a lot and its effect is proven. It is one of the most effective antiaging products.
Tretinoin, by the way, is the strongest state of retinol. It is sold as a drug.
Thus, you only can buy it from pharmacies. It is one of the strongest forms of vitamin A.
Because it is very strong, the concentration of that is also very strong. That’s why it takes a long time for the skin to build tolerance to it.
The skin might purge, be peeled, dried down etc. You face these kinda problems.
So, it should be used carefully under dermatologist control.
But the good side is that after your skin gets used to it, a new skin, like a baby, shows up underneath.
The people using this are usually very satisfied, after their skin get used to it.
Retinoids are much weaker than tretinoin. Those are the products that you can buy unprescribed and find in the stores.
Retinol and retinoids are also found in many skin care brands.
but you still should be careful while using them.
These are weaker than tretinoin but much stronger than many chemical acids. So, they should be used carefully.
As I said, if you have mature skin and have wrinkles, you can use this kind of antiaging product under physician control.
AHA, in other words, alfa hydroxy acids.
I’d spoken about this more in detailed before, indeed. Also, I’d given information about the derivatives of AHA.
If you have mature skin and wrinkles, I especially suggest you look at glycolic acid and lactic acid.
These have a peeling effect, too. They help to repair the fine lines and smooth the skin.
Plus, they support the production of collagen.
These are more gentle than retinol and retinoids. So, they can be easily used by many people.
BHA, in other words, beta hydroxy acid.
Salicylic acid which has an antiaging effect, is under this category.
but the major duty is to clean pores deeply. because it is an oil-soluble acid.
Thus, it is very effective in especially blackheads. But in the meantime, it is known as its antiaging features.
I can suggest you look at AHA, retinol, and retinoids with if your priority is not pores.
Vitamin C, in other words, L-Ascorbic Acid which is an important antioxidant.
Besides, it has a lightly peeling effect. It reverses the sun damage. One of the best antioxidants.
Because of that, I like to use vitamin C in the mornings before the sun cream.
Like chemical acids, it is important to make your skin used to it slowly. By the way, vitamin C is very important for skin spots.
It is very effective on both sunspots and pimple scars. It has a firming effect and it is known as antiaging because it supports collagen production.
Now, antioxidants. We’ve talked about vitamin C already but it is more likely in the chemical acid category.
but it is also a strong antioxidant. There are more antioxidants that you can take benefit from.
I am gonna talk about all of them now.
Let’s dive into “What is antioxidant? What does it do on the skin?” because some people doubt whether it is really beneficial.
Antioxidants are electron donors for free radicals and antioxidants neutralize them. Toxins are free radicals.
and they damage your skin cells. Thanks to the antioxidants you will use, you can reverse this damage.
Environmental effects, sunrays, all of them cause damage in cells and as I mentioned, antioxidants prevent this.
By this way, your skin cells don’t be damaged, wrinkles and spots don’t appear.
So, antioxidants are very important to prevent skin cancer
Begin with the first one. Alpha Lipoic Acid. It is also known as thioctic acid.
It has an anti-inflammatory effect. It is known that it helps your cells to produce energy.
Alpha lipoic acid is already an antioxidant and it helps to another antioxidant coenzyme Q 10 to be activated.
Coenzyme Q 10. In other words, ubiquinone.
It is a very important antioxidant. It supports the production of collagen and elastin.
You owe your shine of skin to these two. As much collagen and elastin, you have as your skin looks lively and young.
In that case, these kinda antioxidants are important.
Another antioxidant ingredient is green tea extract.
You can see this ingredient especially . in Japanese and Korean skincare brands. They care about this ingredient a lot.
Tea is already rich in phytochemicals called polyphenols which fight against the free radicals.
By the way, there are lots of findings of the green tea extract fight against skin cancer.
Maybe it can be in sun cream you apply in the mornings or you can apply before sun cream as serum.
Polyphenols are also very effective in wrinkles and sagging issues.
Resveratrol. It is a very strong antioxidant that prevents the damage of free radicals.
and I guess it is one of the most well-researched antioxidants.
It is a phytochemical which especially is contained in grapes and wine. You can look at it in the products.
Fermented ingredients. I actually have prepared a detailed video about fermented ingredients. I like them very much.
I try to use them daily. I talked about them very detailed in that video so I am not going to go deeper in the subject now.
Fermented ingredients came into our lives with Korean skincare. So, they are originally from South Korea.
If you have a fungal acne problem, this is definitely not suitable for you because it makes fungal acne worse.
But if you don’t have a problem like that, you might like this ingredient.
What I mean by fermented ingredients is some plants and their extract are fermented.
After fermentation, the molecules are much smaller and they can be absorbed and used better by skin cells.
During fermentation, the antioxidant value of the product is increased.
In this case, it has a high antioxidant effect. This is gonna be more popular day by day.
We already began to see probiotic creams, probiotic serums.
If there are bifidobacterium, galactomyces, lactobacillus, and Saccharomyces in the ingredient list, know that it has fermented ingredients.
Niacinamide – Vitamin B3. One of my fav ingredients.
My favorite feature of it is that it gives a brighter look to the face. It makes it by suppressing the melanin
Thus, it prevents the dark spots, indeed and do this very gently.
Especially the mature skins face the dark spots problem. So, I think that you can get the benefits of niacinamide.
Moreover, in the meantime, it helps the production of ceramides in the skin which are placed in the skin barrier.
Ceramides are one of the key essentials of the skin’s lipid barrier that prevents loss of moisture.
I think you can see its effect in the long term. So, you can give a place to a product containing niacinamide in your routine.
Recently, there are new found antiaging ingredients. We can say, newborn children, new superstars of the skincare world.
The first is Plant Stem Cells. Bitkisel Kök Hücreler in Turkish.
These are replaced with damaged skin cells and reproduced. They can renew themselves.
They are relatively new technology. The research about them is promising. They found that they increase the collagen and decrease the inflammatory.
Peptides. They are clinically well-enquired ingredients. They become popular since the findings are promising.
We can define peptides as short amino acid chains, or building blocks of proteins.
They stimulate skin cells to produce collagen which means a tighter and elastic skin.
If you wanna support collagen production, you can look at it.
I wanna warn you here. Some of you may say “Why don’t we use collagen-based ingredients then?”
The products including collagen don’t have antiaging feature. Collagen works as a humectant on the skin if you apply it on the skin.
There is a wrong percept.People think if they put collagen on the skin, skin will absorb it and use as collagen.
Unfortunately, it does not work like that. When I apply collagen on my face, it works like hyaluronic acid but it does not replace collagen.
That’s why if you wanna support the collagen production on your skin, you should check the other ingredients I’ve mentioned rather then collagen-based products.
I should say that especially the copper peptides are very promising. This is one of the best ingredients for collagen production.
Moreover, they don’t irritate the skin as retinol as a good side.
This is the best alternative for the ones who definitely cannot use retinol and derivatives, I think.
EGF, epidermal growth factor, is under this category.
These are the proteins found in the skin. You can see the ingredients list which are also in the peptide category.
and help cells to renew. It is found that after 25 years old, EGF production slows down. It slows down year by year.
This is one of the good ingredients you can check.
Mushroom Extract which can be seen in skin care products after recent promising research.
It is becoming popular. Especially their hydration power is notable, it is said that they are even better than hyaluronic acid.
In the meantime, they are good at repairing skin tissue, increasing elasticity, repairing collagen destruction, and reverse the damage of UV lights, similar to antioxidants.
They are known as super antioxidants, indeed.
you can see as Tremella Fuciformis or Tundra Chaga extract in the ingredients list
Now, I will talk about two ingredients found in the skin, indirectly improves the look and quality of the skin
The first one is hyaluronic acid which is known as a humectant.
It is found in your skin naturally but it lowers as the age is older. It can pull 1000 times more water than its weight.
A hydrated skin looks more supple and elastic.
In that case, I suggest you give a place to hyaluronic acid.
You should be careful while you are buying a hyaluronic acid product that each hyaluronic acid product is not the same.
They have all different absorption levels. What you should care about is if you are buying a hyaluronic acid serum that
provide 3 different hyaluronic acids in different molecular weights.
Because the only one molecular weighted hyaluronic acid stays in the surface on your face and cannot be absorbed well.
and if the environment you live in is dry, because it cannot pull water from outside, it starts to pull water from the skin.
It dries your skin rather than hydrating.
Be careful and choose well. If you are careful about this point, I think you will be satisfied.
Ceramides are one of the building blocks of the skin’s lipid barrier and they prevent the loss of moisture from inside the skin.
By the way, ceramides, too, decrease as we got older.. Thus, you might care that to be in your serums and creams.
Yes, the ingredients I talk about are like this. It is, of course, impossible to apply all of them in one routine.
But at least, you can add alternatively 2 or 3 ingredients that you think they are suitable for your skin to your routine.
I think the absolute must have one is sun cream. Others might be added to your routine according to your skin’s needs.
For example, if you have mostly dark spot problems, then you should look for vitamin C and niacinamide.
If you have mostly the sagging problem, then you should check glycolic acid or hyaluronic acid serum.
As I said, by getting benefit from this video, you can decide a suitable routine for yourself and say “I am gonna mainly use these ones.”
I should point it out that skin care products are important and they have an important role in our skin but don’t forget the importance of a healthy life.
Please remember the importance of eating well, doing exercise, and sleeping well. These are the most important points for healthy looking skin.
Of course, skin care has an important place but if you don’t have a healthy lifestyle, it is impossible to get the benefit from skincare products.
In order not to make it longer, I will write the products I am satisfied with, in the description box below.
In the same time, I will give a place to the products I’ve not used but liked the ingredient list.
I hope I could be helpful. I hope you learned new pieces of information from this video. See you in the next video!
