ANTI AGING Under Eye WRINKLES CROWS FEET

So today we are talking about anti-aging tips of-, for-, a-, for-, let’s try again…okay. Ready? Okay. So we have been doing an anti-aging video series, and namely today we’re talking about anti-aging tips for wrinkles around the eyes.

So the first type of wrinkle that are common around the eyes are called Dynamic Expression Lines. And those lines, or fine lines which eventually turn into wrinkles, are formed when our skin creases over-and-over over repeated facial expressions.

Such as: Smiling, squinting, frowning, laughing. And so, obviously, we’re human, and when we express our emotions those fine lines turn into wrinkles. Now these types of wrinkles are found most commonly around the forehead, the eyes, and around the mouth.

The second type of wrinkles that are commonly found around the eyes are called Gravitational Folds. And these develop with age and basically they’re most common around the eyelids and under the eyes, like under-eye bags, and they start to develop when the Collagen and Elastin starts to break down.

Now these types of wrinkles are actually, they show up more prominently if you have a leaner-looking face and thin skin over someone who has a plump looking face and thicker skin. Now for those of you who have the 11 wrinkles, these are the vertical lines that show up in between your brows here or down your chest.

These are called Atrophic or Atrophic Crinkling Rhytids. Now this is also the breakdown of Collagen and Elastin, as well as a direct cause of this is more common with overexposure to UV rays, because UV rays release free radicals and they break down the Collagen and Elastin.

Now for those type of specific wrinkles, the best form that you can do is of course use a daily sunscreen. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Okay? So if you use sunscreen and use an anti-oxidant like Vitamin C and Niacinamide.

Both of them are anti-oxidants and they neutralize the free radicals that basically break down our skin a little every single day. Okay so real quick here, if you guys have not subscribed to the channel, please hit the SUBSCRIBE red button down in the corner over here and also hit the notification bell so you’re notified for our new videos that we are doing in this whole anti-aging series.

So while we’re talking about anti-aging around the eyes, here is a tip that I also explain a little bit more in our video on, “Should I Exfoliate My Eyes?” So if you haven’t looked at that video go ahead and click on the little card up here, and you can watch that later.

So one of the things is, when you’re using eye creams, or eye gels, or serums to address the fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, there’s not a lot of people that talk about EXFOLIATING around the eyes.

So when you use an exfoliator obviously, most people are avoiding the Periocular area and that is because the skin around our eyes are thinner and they tend to be more sensitive. Well you can use a very, very gentle exfoliating powder and it is done by Image — it’s Iluma — it’s a brightening powder and it’s gentle enough to use around your eyes.

So I’m not going to spend too much time on that, so go ahead and click that link so you can watch that. But basically, what that does is that takes off a lot of the dead skin cells that we accumulate around our eyes, and it’s very gentle, so that it can INCREASE the absorption rate of your serums, your eye gels, your eye creams, and any other wrinkle products that you may be using to address the fine lines and wrinkles.

Okay, so the other one is, and you might have heard of these, are Peptides. So there’s all different types of Peptides, and basically Peptides are chains of Amino Acids that make up the skin’s protein, namely Collagen.

Now I mentioned again that there are a whole array of different Peptides in different types of products, and that is a whole- -nother video. So once again, if you are watching this video and you haven’t subscribed, please make sure that you SUBSCRIBE so you can get that video when we talk about all the details and the different types of Peptides that you can use.

Now the other thing is you can use a humectant. And a humectant is basically ingredients that bind or attract a moisture from the air and binds it to your skin. Now this is especially important if you live in a very arid climate, like here in Southern California, or if you’re in Arizona, New Mexico.

That’s very important to bring moisture to your skin. Now Hyaluronic Acid, what is unique about that is, first of all, that is an ingredient that we naturally make in our bodies, and as we age we make less of it.

It’s in our skin, it’s a lubricant for our joints as well as around our organs, and also in the discs in between our vertebrae. So the Hyaluronic Acid, you can’t react to this and it cannot break you out, and one molecule holds up to a THOUSAND TIMES its weight in water.

So if you can use that around your eyes, that helps plump up your eyes. So especially if you have sunken-in eyes, or you have under-eye circles, that is an ingredient that you want to look for as well.

Okay so, one other tip first, is, is that if you are in your 20’s, the easiest way to delay the aging effects of your skin is to start earlier. You can start targeting the breakdown of Collagen and Elastin that eventually shows up when you are older.

So that is one tip, that if you haven’t started, ladies, you want to start addressing this now. So, to recap, these are the things that you need to focus on for anti-aging tips for around, the wrinkles around your eyes.

So, first one is sunscreen. And if you can find one with anti-oxidants — such as Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Niacinamide — those not only help block the UV rays but it also neutralizes the free radicals that eventually break down the Collagen and Elastin.

So that’s the first one. The second one is, if you can’t find a sunscreen that has anti-oxidants in it, then use a serum that neutralizes the free radicals that creates the damage. The third one is to use-, to find serums or creams that have Peptides, powerful, anti-aging Peptides to help your skin not only create new Collagen and Elastin, but prevent the existing Collagen and Elastin from breaking down.

Those are the main ingredients that you want to look for. So, stay tuned for our next video that is coming up soon, and that is for the differences between the Peptides and what they do. And if you haven’t watched it already, watch our other video that talks about anti-aging and powerful Peptides, and these are the, “Advanced Anti-Aging Tips”.

So thank you for watching!
